Wingnut Wrapup

And let's just start off with this massive revelation about the debate:

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Breaking: POKER PRO AGREES – Hillary Was Sending Hand Signals to Debate Moderator Holt"

AND to her lizard person handlers.

Cortney O'Brien, Town Hall:  "It Sure Looks Like the California AG Colluded With Planned Parenthood to Enact Legislation"

"Colluding" with Planned Parenthood to pass very needed legislation- a crime.  Colluding with Russia's spy service to upset the Presidential election- not so much.

And here's a Trump spokesman,  criticizing a reporter's revelations about the corruption at the Trump Foundation:

"I'm not the attorney or the accountant for the Foundation. David Fahrenthold is not an accountant at all. He's trying to find clues and piece them together."

Trying to find clues and piece them together- isn't that pretty much the definition of a reporter's job?

And now, some real hallucinating:

Jack Cashill, American Thinker:  "Uh, Hillary, Your Hubby Caused the 2008 Recession"

And World War I and the black plague.

Daniel John Sobieski, American Thinker:  "Trump's Taxes? Audit the Clinton Foundation!"

Of course, the Clinton Foundation's finances are totally transparent, and the Clintons do not take one cent from it and never have.  What's more, this vicious liar knows that perfectly well.

And now, one of our periodic glimpses into what passes for humor among Republicans; i.e. cheap, lying smears:
Well, on we go:

Thomas Lifson, American Thinker:  "Hillary’s Trump victim ‘Miss Piggy’ turns out to be not so sympathetic a character"

So it's okay to call her a fat pig.

Humberto Fontova, Town Hall:  "Clinton and Liberal Media Scandalized that Trump Explored Doing Business with Cuba"

Scandalized by the Republican Presidential candidate wilfully breaking federal law.  Shocking!  They should be thrilled with this new demonstration of what a free spirit he is.

John Hawkins, Town Hall:  "What Responsibility Do Black Americans Have to Prevent Police Shootings?"

Not stand in the way of their bullets?  Go back to Africa?

"However, the crux of the problem IS NOT THE POLICE. Let me repeat that; the crux of the problem here IS NOT THE POLICE."

Say it again a couple hundred times, John, and Tinkerbelle will wave her wand and it will be true!

"The real core of the issue that no one seems to want to address is that a significant percentage of black Americans seem to believe that they should be able to do dumb and dangerous things around the police without facing any repercussions for it."

Dumb while black!  A crime that deserves the death penalty without a trial.  Unless, of course, they are dumb enough to vote for Trump, in which case we will postpone their execution until after the election.

Katie Pavlich, Town Hall:  "Oh My: Is Hillary Planning to Put Loretta Lynch on The Supreme Court?"

Not one shred of evidence that she is, but since wingnuts have been trained to slaver in rage whenever her name is mentioned, it will do.  And if that doesn't work, how about telling them that Hillary is planning to revive Lenin and put him on the court too?

And I think I should point out that cute little Katie, who has parlayed her appearance and her willingness to lie for money into a position at Fox News, is really one of the most malignant right wing commenters around today.

Guy Benson, Town Hall:  "Analysis: As Hillary Attacks on Treatment of Women, Countering with Clintons' History is Fair Game"

Hillary speaks about the unequal treatment of women in our society.  The appropriate response is to repeat long-discredited smears about her husband's sex life.  Hey, who could argue with that?

Brandon Morse, Red State:  "Marco Rubio and Rep. Joe Heck Help Rescue Victims From Crash That Happened Right In Front of Them"

Well, that is news!  Being Republicans, you'd think they would have just stolen the victims' wallets and split.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Science Update: Florida Doctor Links ‘Low Testosterone Levels’ to Men Who Support Clinton"

A joke by this Florida doctor, but not obvious enough that the legendary Stupidest Man on the Internet didn't fall for it.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill Body Shames Trump: Calls For Daily Weigh-Ins"

And talk about jokes that Jim Hoft doesn't get.  And Jim isn't done with the stupidity yet:

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Obama Admin Denies Jerusalem Is In Israeal"

Really, I don't even know where Israeal is.  Jim, you should learn to follow one of Green Eagle's basic rules of political commentary:  If you can't spell the name of a country, you should keep your mouth shut about it.

And now, a revelation from someone who really gets it:

Laurie Roth, Renew America:  " Hillary's game on the first debate was to appear collected and together"

I.e. what she is.  A malicious game indeed, being what you are.  Trump's game, on the other hand, was to appear to be a barely under control lunatic.  Well, their plans worked for both of them. I guess.

"The game from Hillary, Holt and the leftist media was to get Trump mad and off center. Paint him as the bully who is unfair and disconnected with the American people."

It worked.

Greg Corombos, Renew America:  "Obama about to become Big Brother monster "

Come on, Greg, Obama has been that for years.  Don't you read your own website?

And now this vital story:

World Net Daily:  "China's quest to buy up global supply of donkeys nixed...A number of African countries have banned China from buying their donkeys, saying demand for the four-legged creatures has become unsustainable."

And thank heaven too.  I'm going to be in the market for a couple any day now.

Michael Shindler, American Thinker:  "The issue Trump needs to be talking about"

Global warming?  Nuclear war?  Poverty?  Sickness?  Intolerance? No, it's this one:

"During the first presidential debate, Donald Trump missed out on the perfect opportunity to address a giant problem stifling American prosperity.

A rising number of Americans are unable to start working without first getting a costly government license.  These licenses, commonly known as "occupational licenses," shield license-necessary jobs from competition and reduce worker mobility."

Doctor?  Lawyer? Structural engineer?  Hey, who cares if you know how to do your job?  If you can afford the sign, you are in business!  Yeah, this is exactly the issue that will turn the election for Trump.

"A study from the Institute for Justice examined 102 low- and median-income occupations requiring occupational licenses and found that on average, workers pay about $209 in fees and are required to undergo approximately nine months of training.

These onerous fees and mandatory training periods effectively raise the cost of entering a profession."

$209 in fees, and NINE MONTHS' TRAINING!!!  Outrageous!  Who cares if they know a damned thing about their profession?  I mean, if it's not a requirement for being a bank CEO, why should it be for anyone else?

Newsmax:  "S&P 500 October Plunge Will Indicate Trump to Win White House"

So now they are openly rooting for economic collapse.  We know that has been their strategy for the last eight years, but here it is, out in the open.  Screw Godwin: economic collapse is a big part of how Hitler got into power, and now right wingers  are putting all their chips on it happening again.  Because, that's all they've got, what with their candidate being a raving lunatic and all.

And let's just end here, on this remark by Donald Trump:

"Mr. Trump, aiming to unnerve Mrs. Clinton, even indicated that he was rethinking his statement at their last debate that he would “absolutely” support her if she won in November, saying: “We’re going to have to see. We’re going to see what happens. We’re going to have to see.”

Well, we'll just have to wait and see.  And won't that be fun.

Yes we will. The Arizona Republic, The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Dallas Morning News... all solidly Republican leaning for over a hundred years have all endorsed Hillary Clinton and at least one has got death threats for it. For the most part I would expect the kind of low-lifes who make threats like that to just talk crap until their trailer falls on them, or their dental problems kill them, or their 6-year olds shoot them... but this time "we're going to have to see"

Well, let's hope we get a chance to see, and we aren't the ones left crying on January 20th. For the last few years, the whole Republican story has been whether their inevitable regular self-humiliations turn out to be more important than all their money and dirty tricks. Well, Trump just pulled the last big one a couple of days ago. But his followers are really under the spell of evil, so who knows?

Alex, I'll take Poor Performances for $50.

Two reasons Donald Trump gave for poor performance in the first Presidential Debate.

What are blaming the microphone, and secret hand signals to the moderator.

Correct!
