Wingnut Wrapup

More!  There's always more!
Katie Pavlich, Town Hall:  "The Dishonesty of Democrats' Push for an Extension of Unemployment Benefits- For months, in an effort to shift focus away from Obamacare, Democrats have argued that the economy is recovering and that jobs are being created.  But if this is the truth, then why is it necessary to continue the extension of unemployment benefits?  Democrats cannot honestly argue an unemployment benefit extension is necessary because jobs aren't available for the unemployed while also touting a successful economy and growing jobs."
Talk about dishonesty.  There are still three times as many job seekers as there are new jobs, and Katie knows this perfectly well.   Sure the economy is recovering from the Republican crash. But Democrats are hardly being dishonest if they still care about the people who have been left behind.  To Republicans, compassion is dishonesty.  Well, they don't have any themselves, and I guess they can't believe anyone else does either.  What a bunch of great people.
Lloyd Marcus, Renew America:  "2014: the resurgence of the Tea Party"
Don't hold your breath, buster.
Mary Sullivan, White Children Receive Bad News:  "OBAMA, AN AVOWED BLACK RACIST, THREATENS THE WORLD WITH GLOBAL WARMING ...OBAMA HAS AN 85 IQ AND BARELY CAN READ OR WRITE, BUT NOW HE IS A NEGRO SCIENTIST"
They all have 85 IQ's at Harvard Law School, I guess.
Chris Adamo, Renew America:  "Understanding the Benghazi/Chappaquiddick connection"
Oh God, give it a rest already, will you, please?
Lloyd Marcus, Renew America:  "Will King Obama throw nuns into the lion's den?  We are witnessing a modern day version of King Darius ordering that Daniel be thrown into the lion's den for refusing to deny his faith. Either the Little Sisters of the Poor ministry submit to King Obama's decree or die; metaphorically thrown into the lion's den."
Oh, Metaphorically.  Metaphorically.  Obama isn't going to have anyone actually eaten alive by lions, he's just going to make members of one of the most corrupt and perverted organization on earth provide their employees with adequate medical insurance.  You know what?  Until the day that the Catholic Church shows the slightest sign of being ready to deal with its child-rape problem, I'm just not going to worry too much about their moral outrage over an insurance contract.
David Huntsworth, Renew America:  "Twisted understanding of the Constitution leads to things like this...Group unveils Satan statue design for Oklahoma "
You know what, David? You're right.  A twisted understanding of the Constitution did lead to things like this- your twisted understanding, that tells you that religion entitles people to do any damned thing they please.  Now, the chickens are coming home to roost, in a very minor way- Satanists, Hindus, Atheists, ever followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster want monuments to their faiths on public ground, and you made it possible.  Of course, in reality, you only believe that your religion deserves unquestioning obedience, but you aren't quite ready to come out in public yet and act that much like Al Qaida.  So you go on with your hypocritical posturing, sure that no one will dare to call you on it.
Ken Blackwell, American Thinker:  "They Will Lie to Your Casket "
That's okay.  My casket doesn't have any ears, so it can't hear them.

Now, this article contains one of the most ridiculous distortions of history I've ever heard:

"President Reagan's administration suffered one of the worst disasters of his presidency when Iranian-backed suicide bombers hit the Marine Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1983. Two hundred forty-one Marines and Navy corpsmen were murdered as they slept.  Reagan responded with force. He ordered the USS New Jersey to shell the Iranian-backed Hizb'allah training camps in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon. Within days, Reagan changed the scene of action to the Caribbean, where he liberated a 100,000 people of Grenada from the grip of Communism."

In fact, as we all know, Reagan cut and ran from Beirut, and then "changed the scene of action to the Caribbean," or in plain English, attacked a small, helpless country to distract attention from his cowardly response in Lebanon.  Conservatives that are still fuming about Benghazi are willing to try to whitewash this incomparably worse situation, and turn it into a victory.  Attacked by Hezbollah, he took it out on a bunch of weed-smoking guys from the other side of the globe.  Reagan, what a hero.
Ethel C. Fenig, American Thinker?  "Is the Gov Christie scandal bad for the Democrats?"
Sure it is.  Just like the polls that proved Romney was going to win the 2012 election.  But of course, it's bound to be good news for John McCain.
Daniel Doherty, Town Hall:  "Pew Poll: 60 Percent Say “Opinion of Christie Hasn’t Changed...Good news for Team Christie."
Good news for Team Christie...Of course, Mr. Doherty fails to point out that this means 40 percent say their opinion of Christie has changed, and believe me, not for the better.  To the Republicans among us, the fact that Christie's behavior only alienated 40 percent of the electorate is a wonderful thing.

Michael Barone, Town Hall:  " Robert Gates Book Portrays Obama as a Different Kind of President"

Different than Bush?  That's a relief.
Dennis Prager, Town Hall:  "On every level and from every perspective -- from pure national interest to the purely moral -- the decision by the Obama administration and the Democratic Party to withdraw American troops from Iraq... is indefensible."
Not a word, from the biggest liar on the internet, about the immorality of invading Iraq in the first place, of course.  Here's Dennis' "reasoning:"
"When the last U.S. combat troops departed Iraq in December 2011, they left behind a defeated al-Qaida and an Iraq where traditional rivals Sunni and Shiite Muslims were sharing power in the world's only Arab democracy.
Two years later, al-Qaida has seized major cities where hundreds of U.S. troops died while fighting alongside their Iraqi brethren. The population once freed by the U.S.-Iraqi alliance has now watched those same jihadist insurgents return to command the streets and impose their will."
Dennis seems to have forgotten that Al Qaida didn't exist at all in Iraq until the United States overthrew their government and let religious fanatics on both sides go hog wild.  The Iraqi population was "freed" by us from a problem that we created.  And of course, it wasn't real freedom- as soon as we left, those fanatics that we let into the country did what any idiot knew they would, and apparently the only way to prevent it is to have American troops fighting and dying there forever.  Sorry, Dennis, we created Al Qaida in Iraq, and now the Iraqi people are suffering from what we did.  And by we, I mean your darlings Bush and Cheney, who you supported every step of the way while they committed an armed aggression against an innocent country every bit as malicious as the German invasion of Czechoslovakia.  Deal with that, sucker.
Alan Keyes, Renew America:  "Obama's Marxist coup: ending the nightmare...Leavened with malice and deceit, they rise to power, these hardcore socialists like Obama. Once positioned to do so, they move to consolidate unbridled tyranny. Their infamous goal: to impose the "dictatorship of the proletariat."
This guy lost a Senate contest to Obama once.  In fact Obama killed him after the Republicans brought him in from another State because they couldn't find a black man in Illinois to run against Obama.  Alan has never gotten over it, and at this point, he's pretty much around the bend.
Before It's News:  "Ariel Sharon Dead At 85: Will Prophecy Now Come To Pass?"
No.
Lauri B. Reagan, American Thinker:  "Who Will Obama Blame for his Failed Iran Policy? The Jews, of Course"
Of course.  Because that's what he always does, blame the Jews, right?  Why just recently...uh...actually, he never blamed the Jews for anything, but of course, this time he will.  Because Muslim Communist blah blah blah.  And mobster:
"From threatening to veto the legislation to accusing Senators who support the new sanctions bill of pushing for war with Iran, President Obama is using all of the down and dirty mobster-style tactics he can muster."
The veto.  A tactic we normally associate with Al Capone.

And now for a shocking story I bet you haven't heard:

Before It's News:  "Over the years, the United Nations has gradually purchased most of our precious National parks in the United States of America, and now they are working on buying all major U.S. cities. But why?"

Yeah, why?
“It is a well-documented fact that the U.N. is trying to gain control over vast amounts of U.S. territories to herd more people into cities where they are more manageable,” says Henry Lamb of Eco-Logic — a watchdog organization that monitors U.N. activities and U.S. sovereignty issues."
Oh, that explains everything.

And let's just go out on this important announcement from the Save America Foundation:
"Militia Mobilization Across The Nation Under Way- Senior Chief Geoff Ross, US Navy (Ret)

Dear Save America Foundation Members and all Patriots across the United States,

Be advised that I am in the process of notifying and contacting all legal and constitutionally created militia groups across the United States to mobilize on Washington DC for “Operation American Spring”currently scheduled for May 16th, 2014 and commanded by my friend Colonel Harry Riley US Army Intelligence (Retired) Silver star.   1.8 million people have already responded in kind and are mobilizing and or supporting this effort.  We need 10 million."
1.8 million have already responded!  and they need 10 million!  Well, that will sure beat the 130 who turned up for the last march on Washington, won't it?  Green Eagle can hardly wait!

But you will have to wait for more Wingnut Wrapup, because Green Eagle has had enough.  Not that I suspect that will be a problem for you.

Ronnie Raygun could knock soviet missles from the sky with his fists.

Real Reagan was responsibkle for the most cowardly stumble-bum response to a terrorist attack until W(orst President Ever) on 9/11

Conservatives are convinced that since they believe Two separate Terrorist Attacks in Beirut in 1983. On April 18, 1983 the Beirut Embassy Car Bombing killed 17 Embassy personnel (and 46 Lebanese) and the follow on Truck Bombing attack 6 months later on October 23, 1983 at the US Barracks in Beirut killed 241 Marines, Soldiers and Sailors. The most despicable thing is the attacks followed the exact same tactics because the Terrorists knew the Embassy Marine Guards were barred by Ronald Reagan from having ammo at their posts.

There is indeed “always more”.

It’s an invented world were decency is dishonesty, corruption is democracy, and where people choose to be poor and the tax-evading mega-rich are to be lauded for their destruction of other people’s lives.

Sometimes I just...feel like I’ll shrivel up... if I spend too long pondering the scale of it.

Twisting the truth? Why bother with twisting? These boneheads have such an obsessive hatred for Obama that the most insanely bizarre claims against him are accepted without question. And I'm someone who is against most of Obama's policies. It's delusions of persecution, extreme clinical paranoia. How these people even function in day-to-day society is a mystery to me.
