Wingnut Wrapup

Man, the wingnuts were howling today.  It's not often any more that I can get a whole Wingnut Wrapup from a single day's idiocy, but here goes.  And a particular shout out to the guys and gals at Town Hall, who were really off the deep end:

Ann Coulter, Town Hall:  "Send Us Your Violent Bigots, Yearning to Butcher Our Citizens"

How about we just send a couple to you, Ann?

Brent Bozell, Town Hall:  "One Man's Hitler Fascination"

This particularly disgusting post is a smear of John F. Kennedy, based on something he supposedly said sometime in the 1930's.  I love things like this because they really show how little right wingers can find to complain about regarding today's Democrats.

Dennis Prager, Town Hall:  "The 'Muslims-Killed-by-the-West' Lie...Throughout the Muslim and leftist worlds it is believed -- and our children are taught this at college -- that America, the UK. and other countries are targeted by Muslims because we kill Muslims."

Which we never do, of course, according to Dennis.  Those half million or so dead Muslims in Iraq?  Just a figment of your imagination.  And as for Afghanistan:

"First, the U.K. and others are in Afghanistan in order to defend Muslims."

By killing them.  Is there a bigger dick on earth than Dennis?

Katie Pavlich, Town Hall:  "DNC: Republicans Doctored Emails and Are Making Up These Scandals or Something "

Or something?  Or something?  Let me state this for you, Katie.  Republicans Doctored Emails and Are Making Up These Scandals.  There.  No "or something" involved.  Satisfied now?

Jacob Sullum, Town Hall:  "Obama Debates the War on Terror With Himself"

As it turns out, it is an outrage for the President to spend time deciding whether a foreign policy choice makes any sense.  It is his obligation to go for the mindless violence option, the way any good Republican would.  No thinking involved.

Crystal Wright, Town Hall:  "E.W. Jackson All Wrong for Virginia GOP"

It's not his positions, no.  Those, as abominable as they are, don't really differ from what the Republican base believes.  What's wrong with E. W. Jackson?  You tell me:

I'm sure you can figure it out if you look at the picture closely enough.

Zombie, PJ Media:  "Karl Marx Was a Tea Partier...The Tea Party is a workers’ revolution. Modern “progressivism” is a reactionary totalitarian movement. The sooner that honest Marxists grasp this, the sooner “the people” can achieve liberation."

Right- a "movement" founded and funded by some of the most piggish rich people in the history of the world is a wokers' revolution, and the party that at least tries to do something for ordinary people is a pack of totalitarians.  The frightening thing is that this is what Republican voters believe.  Of course, think about this:  what a failure the teabaggers must think they are, that they are now trying to claim Karl Marx as one of their own.

Robert Spencer, PJ Lifestyle:  "When Slaves Choose Their Slavery...A prominent Saudi female activist,” Emirates 24/7 reported recently, has come out against the decision by Saudi Arabia to lift its ban on women driving cars.  Rawdah Al-Yousif complained that campaigns to give women the right to drive…Women are also not ready yet to bear their responsibility and leave their homes at a time when news of blackmail against the women are widespread."

This is a terrible thing to American Conservatives and not anything like their own insistence that women are not ready to control their own reproductive processes.

Andrew Klavan, PJ Media:  "I'll never forget the moment I realized that the villains in my novels spoke the simple truth more often than my heroes did."

What you regard as the truth, Andrew.  Villains speak what you regard as the truth.  The rest of us, by the way, have known that for a long time.

Chris Queen, PJ Media:  "5 Examples of the Value of Faith in Disney’s Classic Films"

Nope.  Nope, you aren't going to get me to bite on that one.  Nope.  I'm not even going to make a joke about someone named Chris Queen who is in love with old Disney movies.  Next thing you know, I'd be talking about My Little Pony.  Even Green Eagle won't sink that low.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Krauthammer: Obama Was Plotting Benghazi Cover Story Before Last Two Americans Were Dead "

And how do Jim and Charlie know that?  Maybe Obama called them up and told them, they being such good friends and all.  Of course this specimen of malicious lying will disappear within a couple of days, without either of these guys having to apologize for spreading a despicable smear.  Conservatism- it means you never have to say you're sorry.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Caught on Tape… College Kids Sign Card Thanking IRS for Targeting Conservatives"

Well, at least someone in the country has some sense.  Jim and his commenters were really outraged about this, because no one in America has a right to have an opinion that differs from theirs.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "AP: Get Ready, Suckers… You’re Going to Lose Your Health Insurance"

Not here in California, suckers.  Only in Republican States.  Deal with it.

Gina Miller, Renew America:  "Boy Scouts choose suicide, and homo-activists are still outraged"

If I explain Gina's thought process to you, your brain will immediately turn into a bowl of post-expiration date hummus.  Only Green Eagle has a mind strong enough to resist this sort of industrial strength stupid.  Trust me on this one, and let's get out of here before it spreads.

R. T. Neary, Renew America:  "Ireland -- is its death knell sounding?"

This is apparently imminent because Boston College is granting an honorary degree to the Prime Minister of Ireland, who supports Planned Parenthood.  Ireland is apparently a very weak country if that is all it takes to bring about its death.  Personally, I don't buy it for a second- Ireland survived the potato famine; it will survive the stupidity glut.

Jim Kouri, Renew America:  "Epidemic of terrorist bombings plague Iraq"

And whose fault do you think that is, bucko?  No, don't answer that.  You're only going to blame it on Obama and Hillary.

Scott Lively, Renew America:  "Satan wins back the scouts"

I don't remember him ever having them.  This was one of nine diatribes about the Boy Scouts letting in gay boys that were to be found on the home page of Renew America today.  Guys, get a life.

Jerome R. Corsi, World Net Daily:  "Tea partier to IRS: Show me YOUR papers!"

Wait- I think I have an old pack of Zig Zag 225's around here somewhere.  Why, do you have the weed?

World Net Daily:  "Hamas 'proud' to kidnap Israelis"

Why shouldn't they be?  Kidnapping Israelis isn't so easy.  Not like catching wingnuts.  All you have to do is leave an open bag of pork rinds on your front lawn, and you can catch a couple dozen in an hour or two.

New York Post:  "Union boss naps in 2-hour workday"

A two hour workday with a nap. Try finding that deal in a non-union job.  Unions, you gotta love them.
