The Real Thought Processes of the Right Revealed Again

I want to preface this little piece with a recent quote by John Fund, a well known Conservative spokesman:

"Why Are Liberals So Rude to the Right?...All too often the difference between left and right in what should be “polite circles” is quite sharply drawn. Conservatives think liberals have bad ideas and liberals think conservative are bad people."

Right.  Below is a perfect example of Conservatives not being "rude" to the right. I must add as a further preface that I am sorry for subjecting people to this, but I believe it is so important that we know just what we are dealing with in this country.  This is a post from a website called Examiner.com, which caters to the reasonable, decent Americans on the right which we have come to know so well.  As usual, I can't resist adding a few comments of my own.

"While our consulate in Benghazi was attacked during the night of September 11 of last year, our fearless leader was allegedly hiding away somewhere getting “high as a kite” on cocaine. This is the speculation of Kevin DuJan, a self-described “gay conservative political analyst” writing for a publication called HillBuzz."

HillBuzz was a hate filled anti-Obama site during the 2008 election, which was run by right wingers, but disguised itself as a pro-Hillary site. It's still around, spreading its bile to whatever small cadre of readers it has left.

"DuJan states that his claim, which he appears to make based on knowledge and experience of drug addicts, explains the president being missing for most of the evening during the attack on Benghazi.
DuJan explains his theory, writing, “If you’ve ever known anyone who is a drug addict, you’d see it’s obvious that Barack Obama was high on cocaine the night of Benghazi; it is the only logical explanation for his disappearance and the White House’s refusal to comment on what he was doing at the time. Since this was a night of great crisis for our country, the only logical reason that the White House won’t explain where the president was is if this man was high as a kite on illegal narcotics at the time.”

First of all, the White House has not refused to reveal what Obama was doing.  He was in the oval office during a good part of the crisis, and was then in the private quarters of the White House a few hundred feet away, trying to get some rest so he could deal with what he knew was going to be a very stressful next day.

In fact, here he is, in the Oval Office, on the night in question.
This photo has been available since the night of the crisis.

Second,  Dujan's "knowledge and experience of drug addicts" apparently consists of watching Reefer Madness a couple of times.  For your information, Green Eagle, having lived in San Francisco during the seventies, has some real experience of drug users, and cocaine users in particular.  The notion that doing a couple of lines of coke would render any normal person incapacitated is ludicrous, as everyone knows, or Keith Richards would have spent the larger part of every Rolling Stones concert collapsed in a heap on the stage.  DuJan is either an unapologetic liar, or one of the most ignorant people in the whole country.

Proof that you can still do your job on coke.

"DuJan also suggests the president sought out gay entertainment when he left the next day for Las Vegas, writing that Obama was, “jetting off to fabulous Las Vegas for a fun-and-games fundraiser event he had scheduled there (where, it also should be noted, not only Chippendales but also Thunder From Down Under male revues are regularly held…which certainly establishes the appeal of heading to Las Vegas instead of managing a national crisis back in Washington for this particular president)."

Yes, Obama had a fundraiser in a city where male revues are held, proving that he is gay.  He split Washington in the middle of a crisis so he could have gay sex.  What could make more sense?

"Suggesting again the gay theme as well as cocaine use, DuJan wrote, “After reading Lowry’s article, my good friend Justine in California emailed me to ask whether I thought Obama was having sex with Reggie Love during the “missing hours” and if that’s where he was. Justine was an actress and model in Los Angeles back in the late-1970s and ran in the same circles as friends of closeted gay men like Rock Hudson…so her first instinct with Obama and Benghazi is that he and Reggie Love were getting at it and Obama didn’t want to be disturbed.”

Of course!  Not only was the President doing cocaine in the White House, he was having gay sex too!  And what is the proof?  Someone named Justine who  "was an actress and model in Los Angeles back in the late-1970s,"* decided with no evidence whatsoever (if she even exists) that Obama was too busy having gay sex to be bothered with the Benghazi situation.  Oh those Negroes, the sex drive is strong with them!

"Despite speculating about Obama having gay tendencies, DuJan stated he believes the idea of getting high on cocaine that night is a much stronger explanation for Obama's absense during those hours. DuJan explained, “once you take drugs you are pretty much on another astral plane for however long it takes for the drugs to leave your system. I’ve sadly watched a lot of incredible people in the nightlife scene ruin their lives with cocaine over the years, and once these people got high they stayed high until the drugs metabolized enough for them to function."

Again, a complete misrepresentation of what happens to you when you do a little coke.  "...once these people got high they stayed high until the drugs metabolized enough for them to function."  This is totally false, as just about everyone knows.  But of course because Kevin DuJan thinks that this is more likely than that Obama was having a gay orgy, it must be true.  Obama in bed, sleeping next to his wife Michelle, is about a trillion times as likely as either of these smears, but that explanation never occurs to Kevin.

"DuJan closed his article with this question: “Do you think it’s better for the White House to say the president’s location is “irrelevant” or for them to admit “the president was high on cocaine and/or having gay sex in his private quarters”?”

And I will just close my article by saying that this is a perfect example of the right's typical respectful treatment of liberals, as mentioned by Mr. Fund above.   Conservatives scream bloody murder if any left winger voices any criticism of them, no matter how obvious, but then feel free to spew the most virulent, disgusting lies about Liberals.  And they really seem to be unable to comprehend the degraded disregard for truth and common decency that they display.

These people are hopeless.  The sooner they get around to their much-ballyhooed shooting war against the rest of us, the sooner we can put them down like the rabid animals they are, and get on with our lives.  And I mean what I say.  After four decades of watching the right, I do not believe that these traitorous moral monsters are capable of redemption.  The decent people in this country will never be safe from their depredations until they have left this mortal coil forever, and are finally ensconced in whatever Hell they have earned for themselves.

*Note that Green Eagle graciously refrained from pointing out that an unknown someone described as "an actress and model in Los Angeles back in the late-1970s," and who is cited as an expert about cocaine, invariably turns out to have been a prostitute.  Just sayin'

Offer the standard deal: Stop telling lies about us, and we will stop telling the truth about you.

"Conservatives think liberals have bad ideas and liberals think conservative are bad people."
Sociopaths lack the ability to empathize with others, to feel the pain of those suffering. Conservatives care only about themselves, they believe in a dog eat dog society and if people are unable to get by, well, tough. In short, conservatives are bad people.

Guinevere, the minute we stop telling the truth about them, they will be telling twice as many lies about us as ever.

And Joseph, don't forget that Conservatives will routinely say anything, even stuff they know to be totally false, because they are only interested in what they want, like three year old kids, and don't care a bit about being decent human beings.

Thanks to both of you for your comments. This sort of thing from the right is so repulsive that I understand that most people can't deal with it in any way. Unfortunately, like cockroaches, the problem only grows worse when it is ignored.
