The Start of a Horrible New Republican Tactic?

The Huffington Post reports this disturbing news today:

"Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) recently announced her opposition to the federal Transportation Security Administration's full-body scanners due to worries that "naked pictures" of herself could somehow end up on the internet for the world to see after being screened."

Though the article doesn't go this far, I want to report my immediate suspicion that this is the start of a new, treacherous Republican legislative tactic.  I expect to hear things like this in the very near future:

"Repeal the Death Tax or pictures of Sharon Angle in her underwear will appear on your computer screen!"

"If Obama doesn't bomb Iran by Tuesday, you are going to be forced to see just how much of John Boehner is actually orange!"

And the dreaded  "No medical care, or you are going to be shoved into a bathroom stall with Larry Craig."

Well never let the mortal safety of thousands and the fight against terrorism stand in the way of a girlie self-flattery and fear about someone seeing her boobs.

I, for one, shall defend to the death Bachmann's right to shield the image of her sagging boobs from the perverts we all must certainly be.
