The Catholic Abomination Continues

Or perhaps just grew worse.  I hate to harp on these people, but my God, the Catholic Church is supposed to be one of the moral pillars of the earth.  Here is the newest chapter in their sickening saga:

"Vatican confirms report of sexual abuse and rape of nuns by priests in 23 countries

The Catholic Church in Rome made the extraordinary admission yesterday that it is aware priests from at least 23 countries have been sexually abusing nuns.

Most of the abuse has occurred in Africa, where priests vowed to celibacy, who previously sought out prostitutes, have preyed on nuns to avoid contracting the Aids virus.

The reports, some of which are recent and some of which have been in circulation for at least seven years, said that such priests had demanded sex in exchange for favours, such as certification to work in a given diocese.

In extreme instances, the priests had made nuns pregnant and then encouraged them to have abortions."

Seven years.  Now I know there is no God, because if there were, he would have struck every Catholic priest on Earth dead by now.   Any person ever who gives this cancerous organization, or anything it has to say, any credibility is a fool.  While they fight against contraception, they have been hiding this sickening sexual perversion for seven years, and who knows how much longer. And this is on top of the worldwide child rape which has become the Catholic church's specialty.

But at least the priests won't get aids, so they can go on "shepherding" their flocks for the rest of their miserable lives.  Although, it represents an unfortunate loss of income for the prostitutes that they formerly patronized.  Well, I am sure the prostitutes will bear their loss with equanimity, knowing that God loves them.

And how many of those priests are in jail now? What? None? How can that be?

Because, to paraphrase Dick Nixon, when a priest does it, it isn't illegal. Right?
