Efficiency

Those who linger under the massive delusion that the world of private enterprise is so much more efficient than government might like to ponder this news:

"BP has only managed to pay one final claim out of 91,000 "

Or about one one-hundredth of one percent.

Just to give you a sense of what that means, there are about 140,000,000 taxpayers in the U.S.  If the government performed as well as BP, 139,998,500 of them would still be waiting for last year's tax refund.  What do you think the teabaggers would have to say about that?

They would cannibalize their own children.

They'd say it was all the socialist liberals' fault, of course.

Abraham Miller, Pajamas Media: "Studies of revolution, including the Russian Revolution, show that the loyalty of several companies of armed, disciplined, and well-led soldiers willing to continually fire into the mobs would crush any revolution"

"Well, there's your conservative answer- kill them all. By the way, Mr. Miller, now that I think about it, I'm not sure that your idea worked all that well in the Russian Revolution. You might want to check out who won that one."

Well, G.E., you make me wonder whether Beck et al. are working to produce those companies of storm troopers willing to shoot their friends and neighbors on (dog whistle)command. When ever I hear a little on the radio (I can't ake much), I'm amazed at the vehement twisting of logic and truth. It's brain-washing, isn't it?
