More Hitler From the Rich

Ken Langone on attempts to question the disgusting transfer of wealth in this country to the rich:

“I hope it’s not working,” Ken Langone, the billionaire co-founder of Home Depot and major GOP donor, said of populist political appeals. “Because if you go back to 1933, with different words, this is what Hitler was saying in Germany. You don’t survive as a society if you encourage and thrive on envy or jealousy.”

First of all, that is a pile of crap, referring to a movement whose rise to power was financed by some of the richest people in Germany.

But more to the point, if I was this jerk, I'd be a lot more worried about France in 1789 than Germany in 1933.
