Wingnut Wrapup- Tantrum Edition
Yeah, the denizens of the wingnut world have been boring me for some time now, but I thought it was a good time to look in on them, as they wallow in their pain over having one of their own Supreme Court Justices put honesty over corruption for once in his life.
Oh God, here we go....
Town Hall: "Romney Rakes in More Than $1 Million Since ObamaCare Ruling"
Well, that will be a comfort to you as you struggle to cast off the deep depression you feel at the notion that one of YOUR guys didn't kill his conscience completely before taking office.
John Boehner: "Today's ruling underscores the urgency of repealing this harmful law in its entirety"
Because nothing underscores the urgency of repealing a law than the fact that it was passed by both houses of Congress, signed by the President and upheld by the Supreme Court.
Katie Pavlich, Town Hall: "House to Vote to Repeal ObamaCare Again July 11"
What a surprise, huh? The next day, I suspect they are going to reinstate the Dred Scott decision.
Eric Cantor: “The Supreme Court’s decision to uphold ObamaCare is a crushing blow to patients throughout the country."
Actually getting medical attention- what a crushing blow. How can these dicks even say things like this? Eric promises:
“On July 11th, the House will once again repeal ObamaCare"
Well, sort of. Given that the House can't repeal a law all on its own. Eric must have missed the day in fourth grade where his civics teacher explained that.
And more Eric Cantor: " In this tough economy, jobs and economic growth are on the minds of most Americans, but ObamaCare has increased uncertainty for small businessmen and women and forced them to put their hiring decisions on hold."
Well, we all know that this is a total lie, just like everything the Republicans have to say about jobs (which they care nothing about.) No need to say any more
Marco Rubio: "Victory For Obama Means a Middle Class Tax Increase"
Of course it also means they won't die because they can't afford medical care. Let's ask them which bothers them more: having a little less money or being dead.
Bridget Johnson, PJ Media: "Congressional Republicans: ObamaCare in Our Court Now"
Yeah, it sure is. In your court? It's imbedded in your skull, after John Roberts' serve.
Louie Gohmert: "We still have the issue of Justice Kagan...she has violated federal law, and as such she needs to be removed from the Supreme Court. I think it’s important to look at Justice Kagan for potential impeachment"
Well, they want to impeach someone, right? Not Elena Kagan, obviously, but they'll take whatever malignant revenge they can. Of course, it was just fine to have that idiot Clarence Thomas vote against the law after his wife was paid $600,000 to oppose it.
Rush Limbaugh: “Obamacare Was a Lie. It Was a Stealth Tax… And Nobody Knew It Until Today...Obamacare is nothing more than the largest tax increase in the history of the world.”
Nothing more, huh? It's health care for thirty million people. that's something more, asshole.
"Barack Obama Gloats Following Obamacare Decision: “THIS ONE got it done”...Mr. Wonderful Barack Obama patted himself on the back today following the SCOTUS Obamacare decision."
Obama has no right to be happy that his legislation was found Constitutional. In fact, as usual, he has no right to discuss his record in public. It should be left to the Republicans to explain to the American people what a miserable failure he is, even when he succeeds.
Allen West: "This Is a Sad Day for Americans as They Will Be Taxed to Pay For Benefits They May Not Need or Want"
We're waiting for Mr. West's statement on Americans being taxed to help the Catholic Church pay for the rape of thousands of young boys. I doubt that most of us needed or wanted that. And while we're on the subject:
Gateway Pundit: "US Catholic Church Leaders Reject Obamacare Court Ruling"
If we spend our money on health care, there's less left to pay for judgements against Catholic Priests.
Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "DNC Executive Director Taunts Conservatives on Obamacare Decision: “It’s Constitutional, Bitches!”
Ooh, the meanie!
Alan Caruba, Renew America: "Following the Obamacare decision, The Heartland Institute's Maureen Martin, a Senior Fellow for Legal Affairs, said, "Today's decision will go down in infamy. It marks the moment when we all lost our freedom because the Supreme Court drew a road map to guide those dedicated to imposing a totalitarian, statist government on the American people."
The moment we all lost our freedom. In the words of someone paid by the Koch Brothers. Guess which two Americans' freedom he's really worried about. Oh, except for his own freedom to be an asshole in public.
Dream on, sucker.
Kevin Fobbs, Renew America: "Obama's tax lies brought communism to America's door...Make no mistake President Obama and his administration handlers lied and sold America a tax deception disguised as a health care law that will usher in a new age of socialism and old style communistic practices that would make Stalin blush."
Health care=Communism. You read it right here.
And now, a few random comments from some of the above posts:
"Justice Roberts is quite possibly the most contemptible Machiavellian whose filthy rear has ever soiled the SCOTUS bench. May REAL justice rain upon him, and may it be tempered with the same level of mercy that his ruling and opinion gives to all of the future unborn whose abortions will be made easier by the horrific weight he gave to the Obama agenda.
Turn about is fair play. We get both houses of Congress and annul the tax laws. Simple as that."
The Conservative answer to having a Supreme Court decision go against them: Murder the Chief Justice and destroy the government. Nothing like a level of reaction to a disappointment reminiscent of a two year old.
"Lungren understates it; by going with the tainted (by the presence of proven traitors Kagan and Sotomayor) side of the vote, Roberts proved he is not fit to be on SCOTUS!"
Because if every single decision doesn't go their way, the Justices are traitors. I don't think I'll bother to comment on the rest of these:
"As far as I'm concerned, after today's ruling (another legislation from the bench) they can dismantle the Statue of Liberty and melt her down for scrap. She has no meaning anymore."
"By my count, the Union was dismantled in 1860 with the election of Lincoln"
"I felt it died in 1964."
"I'll be happy to move to any state that votes to secede."
"Secession from the Union which means secession from the Federal Government is a must and the only way to go. I am no longer a free man in a free country. I am willing to fight for my freedom."
"Will we successionist step up to the plate with our lives and fortunes to make a future for our children and grand children? I will"
"Roberts joins a long list of traitors on the SC who have allowed evil to thrive in our land. God has tried to wake us up many times in the past, but we have refused to listen."
"I felt as down as everyone here but we can't give up. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
I mean, what can you say? Apparently, either the U.S. came to an end either when black people got rights or when Germany attacked Pearl Harbor. Take your pick. Well, on we go:
Marco Rubio, on Romney supporting the individual mandate in Massachusetts: “But what a big difference. He supported it on the state level. Which means if you didn’t like it in Massachusetts, you could move to another state."
Hey, honey, I hate Democratic laws. Quit your job and pack our stuff- we're moving to Alabama.
Heartland Institute: “The president intimidated Chief Justice John Roberts like Hugo Chavez intimidates the Venezuelan Supreme Court. The rule of law is now dead. The American people have only one more chance now to save their country.”
The President intimidated Roberts to do the right thing. The bastard!
A hundred. What an impressive turnout! The Secession is under way!
Well, let me tell you that this is a random selection of about five percent of the crap that right wingers have had to say in the last day about this decision. I could go on forever here, but I won't. Enough is enough.

Because murderous attacks by terrorists against America that George W(orst President Ever) was warned about 7 times while the We defend America the Bestest Republicans controlled all areas of the Federal Government is the same as getting poor and struggling middle class people healthcare coverage eliminating caps on benefits, closing the pre-existing condition hole and helping young students remain covered.
