The Streets Are About To Erupt In Protest, Oh, Yes Sir!
From an official Catholic piece of trash publication:
Forget about any of those guys? St. John Fisher, St. Thomas More, and St. John the Baptist all had their heads cut off for being Christians. (Peter and Paul only made the list to remind us that this is all about the Catholic Church.) Honestly, I haven't heard much about any Catholics having their heads cut off by the Obama administration, but then I haven't been following the news that closely the last few weeks. Well, apparently we are about to witness a massive uprising:
Or at least the most massive campaign of civil disobedience since the Teabaggers marched across the country, which in itself was the most massive campaign of civil disobedience since the Civil Rights Movement, or maybe the most massive campaign of civil disobedience since the Glenn Beck Rallies, which were also the most massive campaign of civil disobedience since the Civil Rights Movement; at least until they all failed spectacularly. As Green Eagle did with the Teabaggers, we will not forget this prediction, and shall watch carefully to see what transpires. Well, the Bishops continue:
“Some unjust laws impose such injustices on individuals and organizations that disobeying the laws may be justified,” the bishops state in a document developed to be inserted into church bulletins in Catholic parishes around the country in June.
“What we ask is nothing more than the right to follow our consciences as we live out our teaching,” they say."
Really, when I read this I thought it was a demand to be allowed to grope teenage boys in the parish shower, given as how that seems to be the main thing following their conscience led them to, but no, apparently it is all about being required to provide their employees with health insurance. Maybe someone is planning to cut their heads off for that, but if so, I don't know who it might be. Now, if people wanted to cut their heads off for systematic rape of children, I might go along with that.
I just wonder when enough decent Americans will come together to follow our consciences and refuse to subsidize this perverted organization through its immunity from taxes.
"The fourteen days from June 21—the vigil of the Feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More—to July 4, Independence Day, are dedicated to this “fortnight for freedom”—a great hymn of prayer for our country. Our liturgical calendar celebrates a series of great martyrs who remained faithful in the face of persecution by political power—St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More, St. John the Baptist, SS. Peter afortnight-for-freedom-montagend Paul, and the First Martyrs of the Church of Rome."

"U.S. Bishops Prepare Catholics for Civil Disobedience: ‘We May Need to Witness to the Truth by Resisting the Law’...bishops of the United States are now preparing Catholics for what may be the most massive campaign of civil disobedience in this country since the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and early 1960s."
