Here is a rather wonderful excerpt of a speech in the European Parliament by Nigel Farange, a British MEP. I have stolen it from Infidel753, and I think you will enjoy it. You may not agree with everything he has to say, but isn't it nice once in a while to see a politician at least trying to say what he really believes:

Wow. Powerful. I don't know enough about Europe to judge his opinions, but it was great to see a lawmaker forcefully pointing out the abyss that could all too easily lie ahead.
