Do Republicans Even Want To Live
Or is their hatred so great that it has overcome even the most basic survival instinct.
Here's a map I saw today of life expectancy in the United States:
Here's a map I saw today of life expectancy in the United States:
Interesting to compare it to the following map, showing the vote in the last election, by county:
I think the point I am making is pretty obvious. The Republican party has whipped its voters up into such a fury that they are willing to vote against their own self interest on so many issues; apparently this extends to their interest in even staying alive. Republican voters throughout the country appear willing to sacrifice up to 20 years of their lives in order to hang on to that preposterous promise that rich people are going to share their wealth with them.
Sad to say, when we have a whole party of mentally disturbed people like this, who are unwilling to put aside their hatred and greed, even to meet their most basic needs, we may have well gone past the point where the country is salvageable.

There are basically three types of places where life expectancy is at its lowest:
1) Eastern Kentucky/Southwestern West Virginia
2) The "Black Belt" and Mississippi River Valley in the South
3) Places with a high percentage of Native Americans/Alaskans
Types 2 and 3 tend to vote Democratic - and they are areas where many people are victims of racial discrimination. Much of Eastern Oklahoma is red, but it's not as red as the rest of the state, and Native American population is generally between 10 and 20 percent.
States containing types 2 and 3 also have lower-than-average life expectancy for whites.

I don't think so. However, they are willing to sacrifice 12 years of their lives in order to ensure that racial minorities in their state lose 20 years of theirs. Which is more evil than you proposed.
If you look at the areas on the top map with the highest life expectancy (especially if you disregard areas of extremely low population), they agree remarkably well with the bluest areas of the bottom map. But not many Trumpanzees are aware of such correlations or understand the implications. Their regions tend to have higher levels of obesity, smoking, drug use, and violence, but they would probably resist any effective efforts to curb those things.
