35%

The Washington Post has just reported that the latest Quinnipiac poll shows Donald Trump's approval rating has sunk from 40% after his bombings a couple of weeks ago, to 35% today.  And remember that these numbers largely do not reflect the news we have had in the last 24 hours.  This is the lowest Trump rating yet, and the lowest ever recorded for a President in his first term.  And remember that Quinnipiac tends, for whatever reason, to lean slightly Republican, so we could guess that the real number is something like 33%, or only six percentage points about the dead minimum support that any Republican gets from their self destructive, hate filled base.  It'll be interesting to see where he is next week, although as we approach the core remnant of their irredentist batch of morons, each further point down will get harder and harder to reach.

What's his approval gonna look like after he has a disaster he didn't create and handles it like a cretinous moron?

Beginning of the end, possibly. Firing Comey with a letter that expresses appreciation for being told you are not being investigated - even though you are - while your entire circus of clowns is not aware of what you're about to do, and then saying you did it for an entirely different reason... And then having your clowns say it's time to move on and just forget this annoying Russia business within 48 hours of HAVING JUST FIRED THE DIRECTOR OF THE FBI ferfucksake... as Trump is meeting the Russian foreign minister with the US press shut out and Russian state media providing the pics... it's too smelly to walk past. It's like the defendant firing the judge.

He ought to be hitting 30% soon.

And I want to state again, that this approval rating (variously reported as 35% and 36%) is the result of polling done before the Comey firing. Let's see where he is next week.
