Wingnut Wrapup

Today's Wingnut Wrapup is dedicated to Prince.  If you don't listen to Alex Jones, you probably are not even aware that Prince was recently killed by chemtrails:

Please take the time to watch this to the end, where you will see Alex advertising what I guarantee you is one of the most worthless medical "products" in the history of the world.

So, let's move on.  Isn't this exciting new to start with:

Cortney O'Brien, Town Hall:  "First Criminal Charges Made in Flint Water Crisis"

Of course, none of those charges were against Michigan governor Rick Snyder, or any of the people who conspired with him to feed the residents of Flint poisoned water, in order to make up some of the budget gap caused by their giving the State's money away to the rich guys who paid for their campaigns.  Because that is not illegal!  Thirty years of Republican control of the Supreme court, and this is what we get.

Michelle Malkin, Town Hall:  "Yes, We Need a Canadian Border Wall"

Having grown up on the shore of Lake Erie, I am waiting for someone like Michelle to explain how they are going to build the 800 miles of that wall which would go across the Great Lakes.   Or the wall they are going to build across terrain like this, in Glacier National Park:

In any event, the presence of a few thousand Syrian refugees in Canada is providing a perfect opportunity for the start of something I have been warning about for a couple of years now:  An increasingly alarmist narrative about the major threat Canada poses to the United States, so warmongers can justify starting a war they know they can win, and which would make so much money for the likes of the Koch brothers too.

Allen West, Town Hall:   "When I was a Congressional representative from South Florida, one of the major concerns was beach renourishment, the process of pumping sand back onto eroded beaches. The district I represented was all coastline, from Ft. Lauderdale up to Jupiter Inlet, and one of the major economic concerns was the erosion of the beaches. As we all can understand, if the beauty of the south Florida beaches declined, so did the attraction of visitors and economic growth.

It is no different when one considers the slow erosion of American strength that has been occurring over the past seven years."

Allen, as a resident of South Florida, maybe you should get back to worrying about eroded beaches, because in a couple of decades, most of your former district is going to be under water.  But no, you just go ahead and worry about some Arabs breaking into your house and murdering you in your bed.

Matt Vespa, Town Hall:  "The Largest Coal Company In The U.S. Filed For Bankruptcy Thanks To Obama's Regulations"

Well, actually, they went bankrupt because they couldn't run a profitable business without poisoning and killing people en masse, and for some strange reason, there were actually some people who were against letting them do that.  But no, it's all Obama's fault. If he'd just say "to hell with dead miners and poisoned cities" the way Republicans do, Peabody Coal Company would be thriving today.

Bob Barr, Town Hall:  "Remember Isaiah – Gun Grabbers Never Rest"

That would be the Isaiah in the Bible.  Funny, I don't remember anything about guns in the bible.  Guess that just shows how ignorant about religion I am.

Justin Haskins, Town Hall:  "New Report: Insurers Leaving Obamacare Exchanges in Droves"

It's finally falling apart just like they said it would!  Justin cites a survey claiming that the number of insurance companies in the program went from 307 last year, ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 287!!!!!  Why, that's a decrease of SIX AND A HALF PERCENT!!  That certainly justifies the word "droves," doesn't it?

That miserable Obama, who decided that people's health is more important than a few insurance company owners having billions.  This is clearly an act of treachery to everything that our country is supposed to be about, and I bet it is a JOB KILLER too!  Impeach!  It's not too late!

Leah Barkoukis, Town Hall:  "OSU Administrators Put Protesters in Their Place: Leave or Be Arrested, Expelled"

It's your choice: your first amendment rights or your career.  Think about it before you open your God damned mouth, you dirty hippie.

Michael Harrington, Red State:  "New York never mattered, Ted Cruz won the Presidency...The odds of Trump getting the nomination is now under 1% "

Man, talk about living in a world of delusion.  I won't even explain the mathematical nonsense that let Michael to make this idiotic pronouncement.  I'd even be kind of inclined to go along with him if he'd said this:

"...The odds of Trump getting the nomination is now under 1%, because if you think the rich guys who own the Republican party are going to let anyone other than their miserable, corrupt servants get nominated, you are crazy. "

And you would be, too, the way things look now.  Remember old Joe Stalin saying, "it doesn't make any difference who votes, only who counts the votes."  Or, in this case, who they let vote.

World Net Daily:  "EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) – An Evansville woman was in for a divine surprise after a prenatal checkup at her doctor’s office.  Aley Meyer’s ultrasound picture of her baby boy appears to show an image of Jesus on the cross. Aley told 14 News that she didn’t even notice until about a week later when someone pointed it out at her baby shower."

Okay.  Whatever.  Good thing her friend took a look at the picture, or all of God's efforts might have been for nothing.

Thomas Lifson, American Thinker:  "Why so many anti-LGBT hoax ‘hate crimes’?"

You know what, asshole, I'm a lot more interested in why there are so many real anti-LBGT hate crimes.  Not that we don't know why; it's because the country is filled with violent haters like you.

Matt Vespa, Town Hall:  "Of Course, Hillary Clinton Thinks 'We Have Just Too Many Guns' In This Country"

Why, we only have slightly more than one per person.  How can that possibly meet our need for self protection?

John C. Goodman, Town Hall:  "What if the Left Doesn’t Really Want to Achieve its Policy Goals?"

What if the Easter Bunny is really a cockroach in a suicide vest?  Of course, at the White House Easter egg hunt, maybe it is.  John couldn't find a single actual member of the left to say this, of course, so he had to resort to someone in the Wall Street Journal to make that claim, also without evidence of any kind.  Well, it's so obvious that who needs proof?

And if you think they are done with those evil environmentalists (and President Obama) today, there's this:

Paul Driessen, Town Hall:  "The great white environmentalist sharks smell blood in the water. It’s gushing from mortally wounded US coal companies that the Obama EPA has gutted as sacrifices on the altar of “dangerous manmade climate change” prevention and other spurious health, ecological and planetary scares."

They will never stop lying, until we destroy the people who are paying them not to stop.  Let us make this clear:  there is hardly a single one of these people who doesn't know what the truth is.  They are payed to destroy the future of humanity, and they do not give a damn about how evil they are.

Kimberley Ross, Red State:  "A White House Win That Isn’t Worth Having"

They're munching on those sour grapes already.  Hope you like them, guys.  You're going to get a heaping plateful of them in November.

B. L. Bennett, Red State;  "The Trump Camp’s Cyber-War on Ted Cruz...Something unique has been happening, that prevents a large segment of the electorate from getting that information: The Trump team and its surrogates have driven a massive, unprecedented smear campaign against Ted Cruz that is damaging our system of free and informed voting. Integral to this campaign is an immense dissemination of slanted news and untruths over the Internet."

A MASSVE, UNPRECEDENTED smear campaign, I tell you.  Why, Republicans never directed a tenth as much venom toward, say, Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton!  No, they have been treated with perfect respect and honesty, amirite?  Besides, it doesn't really count, does it, when you lie about a Democrat.

And thanks for this explanation of how democracy works if you are a Republican:

Streiff:  "Why Donald Trump Getting 1,237 Bound Delegates Doesn’t Mean He Wins"Streiff offers this explanation:

“Even if Trump reaches the magic number of 1,237 the media and RNC are touting, that does not mean Trump is automatically the nominee,” (an unbound delegate from North Dakota)said. “The votes earned during the primary process are only estimates and are not legal convention votes. The only official votes to nominate a candidate are those that are cast from the convention floor.”

Aren't you glad to learn that under our system of government, your vote is not really a vote but only an "estimate?"  But I guess you already knew that, at least since George W. Bush moved into the White House.

Michael Ledeen, PJ Media:  "Once We Had Some Muslim Friends...Leave it to Obama to alienate the proverbial Arab Street."

The Muslims just loved us before that vicious dictator Obama took over, don't you know?  Why look at the horrible World Trade Center bombing which happened on his watch, and our invasion of Iraq, which he also carried out.  Before Obama, Muslims were all our friends.  Now, even though he is a pro-Jihadi secret Muslim terrorist himself, they hate us.  Makes sense, right?

A little note:  after several years of complaints from my wife that Wingnut Wrapup posts are too long, I finally have given in, and will try to keep them a little shorter for a while.  I always liked the idea of letting people see just how massive the amount of propaganda the right produces, but I guess if I'm boring people to tears by the ends of my posts, that isn't such a good thing.  Just remember, please, that what you see here is just the tiny tip of a very big iceberg.

I just sent in my ballot for the two AZ constitutional changes. The devil is in the details, and wow, just wow. The legislature and their allies are all 'Vote Yes' to reform underfunded public pensions (who has been underfunding them, I wonder) and to increase the sales of state trust lands to pay for our underfunded public schools (guess again who has been underfunding them?).

Oh yeah, the school thing is to get around the court judgement against the state for underfunding the schools and requiring immediate payment this year and increase education funding in following years. If the legislature did that, they couldn't pass more tax breaks for the(ir) 'job creators'. If these two succeed (and I'm afraid they will), it will give the legislature a pass on past bad behavior and wiggle room in the budget to 'cut taxes' (but only for the right people).

I'm sure you must have asbestos underwear and a hazmat suit on when you delve into the various sites for your reporting, but I just can't get my brain around some of the toxic stuff that is their stock in trade. I have the benefit of traveling outside the US of A on Uncle Sugar's dime, so my perspective was shifted from the time outside looking in, and I'm sure world leaders observing our current political 'conversation' are downing the hard stuff in great quantities each time there is another verbal eruption from the Right. We're supposed to be a good example, but it looks like we're tuning into a horrible warning...

I'm downing the hard stuff too. I was just reduced to taking a swig of Lagavulin right out of the bottle.

Seriously, I must say that I do not believe that the conditions exist in this country for a real Nazi-style takeover to take place, and I guess that keeps me able to laugh at a lot of this vicious idiocy. In the end, Real Amurricuns are just too damned lazy and stupid to get any substantial movement together. That's not to say that I don't think that, before we see the end of them, some of these guys are going to get up to evil behavior beyond what we have seen before, but the notion of them sending hundreds of thousands of stormtroopers out into the streets is pretty ludicrous when they can't even get more than 200 people out on a sunny Saturday in Georgia.

Jesus on an ultrasound? That's a new one. I guess the local pieces of toast were all booked?
