Further Degeneration at the White House
As if things couldn't get any worse, this ugly story from Time Magazine:
Tough and blunt talk. Threatening war against a helpless neighboring country. That is not "tough and blunt talk," it is madness. And consider the way in which it was delivered:
Iran, China, now hapless Mexico...where is this going to end? Okay, that is a stupid question. We know where it is going to end. He is going to pick a target and deliberately start a war with them, and then use the supposed wartime footing to crush any opposition to his impending dictatorship. Against China, we will be obliterated by the rest of the world; against Iran, we will suffer a humiliation that will far exceed Bush's military disaster in Iraq; against Mexico we will win, and then what? What will be our standing in the rest of the world, and what will we do in Mexico, other than steal their oil, a justification for war which Trump has already stated he accepts? Trump is clearly sending out feelers now to see what war he can get away with.
And the contemptible fools that supported him seem to be in an ecstasy of expectation about the wonderful world they have helped to usher in.
And by the way, if there are any of you out there so stupid that you think the mainstream press is really liberal, in a sane country, every single press outlet every single day would be demanding the ouster of this vicious, malignant madman, and no other issue would be allowed to enter into the national conversation until that happens.

Trump's remark suggest he is using the same tough and blunt talk with world leaders that he used to rally crowds on the campaign trail."
