Wingnut Wrapup

Man, this has been painful lately.  I found some of this stuff and then couldn't even bear to look at wingnut websites for days.  Sorry, but here I am, at it again.

Jonah Goldberg, Town Hall:  "'America first' Isn't a Trump Creation"

No, it isn't.  As I remember it was popular in the 1930's among people who supported Nazi Germany.

And now, what passes for humor on the right:
Finally, American workers are going to be safe from 76 straight months of job growth.

Christine Rousselle, Town Hall:  "House Votes To End Taxpayer Funding of Abortion"

Something that ended in 1976.  Next:  House votes to end slavery.  House votes to go to war against Spain.  House... well, you get the idea.  Glad to know that the House Republicans are using their time well.

Tyler O'Neal, PJ Media:  "President Trump Promises 'Major Investigation' into VOTER FRAUD"

Just like the 'major investigations' into Benghazi and Hillary's e-mails- i.e. an endless, factless tsunami of Republican lies, repeated over and over again until people start to believe them.

Debra Heine, PJ Media:  "Illegal Immigrant Bites Ear Off of Roommate in Drunken Anti-Trump Rage Attack"

The horror!  It just goes to show how desperate they are to find something to bitch about.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "CNN Quietly Releases Updated Pic Showing Trump’s Inaugural Crowd Size Greater than Obama’s 2009 Inaugural Crowd"

And here it is, from the Stupidest Man on the Internet:

A photo from the Capitol, in which you can't see a thing past the reflecting pool, of the mall itself.  Man, these people are into lying to themselves.

Joel B. Pollack, Breitbart:  "First Lady Melania Trump Weeps at National Cathedral"

See for yourself:

Personally, I think she's blowing her nose.

World Net Daily:  "Why were protesters wearing hijabs at inaugural protest?"

And again, see for yourself:

That's a plastic rain poncho, idiot.

James Lewis, American Thinker:  "The Democrat Fakestream, filled with liberals who make a practice of not reading history, are now telling us that Donald Trump is not just a weirdo with fascist tendencies, not just a Fat Cat Monster of Wall Street, but also "an anomaly" -- a creature never before seen in American history, like the Loch Ness Monster.

A lot they know...Donald Trump is the nearest president to George Washington"

Well, we heard a couple of weeks ago that Trump was "America's Abe Lincoln,"  so why not George Washington too.  I don't want to bore you with too much of this jackass attempting to convince himself of this, but here's a sample:

"Like George Washington, Trump is an outspoken patriot. While he has not had a military career, he  received basic officer training at military school, where he was sent to learn some self-discipline by his father."

Yes, being sent to military school because you were a rotten kid is exactly the same as leading the military during America's war of independence.

"Trump is not the anomaly. Barack Hussein Barry Soetoro Obama, Jr., is an amazing anomaly in American history. His degree of anomaly is so far out that he has not a single precedent in U.S. history."

You betcha there.  And w certainly know what this disgusting pig means by "an amazing anomaly," don't we?

"So Trump is like George Washington in many ways. He is also like Herbert Hoover, a great construction guy and builder."

Well, if he keeps up his current behavior, he is going to be like Herbert Hoover in another way, too.  Guess what way that will be.

Christian Datoc, Daily Caller:  "Trump Set A Press Briefing On Fire With This Joke He Cracked On A BBC Reporter"

His "joke" was a bullying remark about her question damaging relationships with Britain.  But they loved it at the Daily Caller.

David Krayden, Daily Caller: "Making The World Listen Again...Trump may rarely speak softly, but he does know how to carry a big stick."

Big dick?  Oh, you mean big stick.  Okay, I thought you were lying again.  And I've got news for you, David.  He hasn't done anything but speak to the world, and he has made a colossal fool out of himself by doing it.  If he does try to carry a big stick, he is going to get that smirk punched off his face.

Theodore J. King, Daily Caller:  "Trump Should Keep The FDA From Regulating Cigars...The livelihood of small cigar vendors could depend on it."

Trump should therefore keep the government from regulating Heroin, because the livelihood of small Heroin vendors could depend on that. I mean, fair is fair.

Rachel Stoltzfoos, Daily Caller:  "There's One Problem With WaPo's Trump Pressured The National Parks Story"

It's true.  That's the problem.  I didn't really read Rachel's article, mind you,  I just know.  Well, okay, now I did read it.  Here's Rachel's complaint:

"There’s no evidence in the story to back up the assertion he was out of bounds."

It's true that he bullied them, but Donald Trump is allowed to bully people.  Come on, we all accept that, don't we?  Just because it is the action of a thug, doesn't mean that the President of the United States should refrain from this sort of behavior.  In fact, it's so refreshing.

Matt Vespa, Town Hall:  "Friendly Reminder: Obama Selected The List Of Muslim Countries in Trump’s Executive Order"

Bullshit.  He sure as hell didn't select them for this.  But it's never too early to start blaming Trump's behavior on Obama.

Cortney O'Brien, Town Hall:  " Trump, Kellyanne Explain Need for Refugee Executive Order"
Trump:  "Our country needs strong borders and extreme vetting, NOW. Look what is happening all over Europe and, indeed, the world - a horrible mess!"

That's the explanation for violating the Constitution, international law and common humanity.  Satisfied now?  Okay, then, shut up.

Bruce Bialosky, Town Hall:  "Tell Me What All Those Cabinet Departments Do"

Bruce doesn't seem to know what the Department of Commerce, or the Department of labor do, so let's just do away with them.  Well, I'm not sure what benefit we've gotten from the army the last two decades, so maybe we should do away with it, too.  By the way, if we are doing away with things because Bruce doesn't know what good they do, there goes common human decency too.

Cortney O'Brien, Town Hall:  "DHS: We're Still Implementing Trump's Executive Order, Only Affects 1 Percent of Travelers"

Hey, Jews were only about 3% of Germans in 1939.  No big deal if they all ended up dead, I guess.

Streiff, Red State:  "BREAKING. After Eight Years Military Casualties Are Front Page News Again...Via a New York Times news alert:

One American commando was killed and three others injured in a fierce firefight overnight with Qaeda militants in central Yemen, a senior American official said Sunday morning."

Because reporting of military deaths was strictly forbidden under Obama.  Here's the Trump effect in action:  Even a long-time professional liar like Streiff has thrown off whatever shreds of decency he had left, and is just saying anything he wants, no matter how absurd or malicious.

Andrew C. McCarthy:  "The Number of Trump's Executive Orders Is Irrelevant"

Gee, just a couple of weeks ago, the number of executive orders was grounds for impeachment.  I wonder what changed?

Ryan Saavedra, Gateway Pundit:  "BIG LEAGUE: Customs Agents Ignore Liberal Judge, Enforce Trump’s Travel Ban!"

Woo hoo!  Who cares about the law!  We're doing whatever we want!

Newsmax:  "Pence promises end to taxpayer-supported abortion"

Something that hasn't existed for decades, but why quibble over the details?

Kurt Schlichter, Town Hall:  "The Left Hates You. Act Accordingly."

Well, if you are like Kurt and his buddies, we do hate you.  So there.

Michael Brown, Town Hall:  "The Election of Donald Trump Tells Us That Anything Is Possible"

You mean, like World War III?

Melania Moore, Town Hall:  "Trump Denies NYT Report Stating He Wasn't Fully Briefed on Bannon Order"

Oh, he put Bannon on the NSC knowing exactly what he was doing.  Well, that's sure comforting.

Jay Caruso, Red State:  "Watch Katy Tur of NBC News Wonder If Trump Will Become Like Putin and Start Killing Journalists"

I was sort of wondering when it would come to that, too.

Jack Dunphy, PJ Media:  "'L.A. Times' Article Quotes Cops Who Don't Want to Enforce Trump's Policies"

Well, it should certainly be illegal to quote anyone who disagrees with Trump.  I'm sure we are all behind that idea.

Megan Fox, PJ Media:  "Unhinged 'Professor' Whose Hissy Fit at NYU Went Viral Turns Out to Be Lobster Porn Artist"

Oh God, what an outrage!  Lobster porn!

Sexy!  P.S.- this is just a picture of a random lobster.  This professor's art seems to be some sort of performance act, which I was certainly not about to bother watching.

Rick Moran, PJ Media:  "Massive Cleanup Underway Where Environmentalists Camped for Pipeline Protest"

Well, maybe if they had not been violently kicked out by federal troops, they would have cleaned up after themselves.

Rick Moran, PJ Media:  "Trump Outrageously Disses America While Defending Putin...Something Obama would say?"

No, Rick, it's not something that Obama would ever say.  But nice try there, attacking a real American President while defending a traitor.

Ryan Saavedra, Gateway Pundit:  "CBS Poll: Two-thirds of Democrats Say Islam and Christianity Are Equally Violent"

I'm presuming that the other third of Democrats correctly pointed out that Christians have killed millions more than Muslims.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "HYPOCRITES! Top Obama Officials Join Fight Against TRUMP on Temporary Refugee Ban – Were SILENT When Obama Did It"

Maybe that would be because Obama never did it.  Nah, it's because they are evil.

And there's lots more where that came from. but not today.  I've had it.

Didn't Trump run as an anomaly? Wasnt that the main selling point of his campaign? That he was different than any politician who had come before?

It's easy to see what George Washington and Donald Trump have in common.

Neither thought that Hawaii was part of the United States.
