Wingnut Wrapup

It's like tornado debris in Oklahoma- you've got to shovel it out of your yard before the next tornado comes along:

Town Hall: Actor: Obama Doesn’t Even Share a ‘Nodding Acquaintance’ With the Constitution"

That would be James Woods, who, as we all know, doesn't even share a nodding acquaintance with reality, let alone the Constitution.

Stupidity from the Stupid:

Jonah Goldberg, Town Hall:  "The wild environment isn't just about trees and bears and other forms of charismatic mega flora and fauna. I heard Bill Gates on NPR the other day talking about the great strides his foundation has made against malaria and how we may be on the brink of actually eradicating polio forever. Diseases play a huge part of any natural ecosystem, and we've been trying to drive them to extinction for centuries."

In other words, if we eradicate polio, it's okay to eradicate any other wild species too.  There's logic for you.

Streiff, Red State:  "Hillary Clinton: Source of the Benghazi Video Lie"

Oh God, won't it ever stop?

Roger Simon, PJ Media:  "New Benghazi Emails Mean Obama Impeachment Trial Must Be Launched"

Of course they tell us nothing, but then, to wingnuts, everything means Obama's impeachment trial must be launched.

Tom DeWeese, Renew America:  "Is the U.S. being colonized by Red China?"

No.

World Net Daily:  "Supremes green light detention of Americans"

Diana Ross?

Heather Adams, Town Hall:  "Much of Healthcare.gov is Still Under Construction"

And it still got eight million signups despite hundreds of millions spent by Republicans to make it fail.  So what's your point, Heather?

Town Hall:  " Rand Paul:  GOP must grow to win"

Or cheat and lie like hell.  Based on past performance, which one do you think they'll go with?

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "BREAKING: Media Matters Chief David Brock Admits to Working with Media Outlets on Stories...This morning on CNN’s Reliable Sources Brian Stelter asked David Brock, founder of Media Matters for America, how his group operates both independently and collaboratively with other journalists and media watchers."

Apparently a major crime, for some reason.  Brock could have saved himself from this criticism by just repeating GOP talking points like Jim does.

Karl Rove:  Jeb Bush is "the greatest thinker on our side."

Man, that's pathetic, huh?  And here I thought it was Louie Gohmert.

J. R. Deen, American Thinker:  "Donald Sterling, Defender of Freedom"

Yup, that's one right winger's response to Sterling's behavior.  Hard to believe, isn't it?

Kevin Glass, Town Hall:  "Obamacare's Success Depends on Where You Live"

Youre damned right about that one, Kevin.  In States controlled by Republicans, they have managed to sabotage the effort to get people health insurance.  Aren't you proud of yourselves?

John C. Goodman, Town Hall:  "Here's something that's really odd. Let's say at the end of last year there were almost 50 million uninsured people in the United States. Averaging over all the different estimates, let's say that 5 million of them have now acquired insurance because of ObamaCare. But now it's April and the open enrollment period is over. That means that 90% of the uninsured are still uninsured and they won't be able to buy an individual insurance plan until next November."

The outrage!  Republicans, who have voted 45 times to destroy Obamacare totally, are now furious that people can't get on it fast enough.  And you know what's really sick?  Their base voters will buy this without a second thought.

Humberto Fontova, Town Hall:  "Why do Obama and Clinton (but no Republicans) Eulogize Gabriel Garcia-Marquez?"

Because Republicans are so bloated with their irrational hatred that they can't take a moment to honor one of the world's greatest writers, because he has a Hispanic name?  That's my guess.  It interferes with their propaganda that Hispanic males are capable of being nothing but gardeners and drug dealers.

Selwyn Duke, Renew America:  "So what if Cliven Bundy is a "racist"?

Yeah, so what, buster.  Great take on the issue there.

Doug Giles, Town Hall:  "Obama Should Thank Satan Donald Sterling’s Rant Was Released The Same Week As The Benghazi Email"

You know what?  You should shut the fuck up, you filthy bastard.  Sorry not to have a clever comeback for this lowlife scum.

Bruce Bialosky, Town Hall:  "An American Solution to Income Inequality"

Hooray! Just what we have been waiting for from Republicans, for years now!  And what is Bruce's "American solution?"

"Mr. President, you would really help your citizens by getting out of the way and letting the capitalists take over to get the job market humming."

Lower taxes and less regulation on the rich!  What a spectacular new solution to our economic problems!  And one that has never been tried before, too!

Hunter Thomas, Town Hall:  "Will 80% Income Taxes and a New 10% Wealth Tax Fix Our Economy? Thomas Piketty: French and Economist. All you need to know. "

Because decades of economic data gathered by Piketty and his associates mean nothing- he is French!   No Brie eating, Chardonnay swilling Frenchman can possibly have an argument that could stand up to good old fashioned American derision.

Repair Man Jack, Red State:  "Obamacare Cannot Reduce the Cost of Modern Medicine"

It already has, dickwad.

Moe Lane, Red State:  "Terry McAuliffe, Would-Be Dictator of Virginia"

Because whenever a Democratic leader does something, he is a dictator.

Bryan Preston, PJ Media:  "I’m Having a Hard Time Drumming Up Sympathy for the Convict Who Had a Botched Execution"

Dude, you have a hard time drumming up sympathy for anyone but yourself and the Koch brothers.  That's what makes you a Conservative.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "BREAKING: 11 Terrorists With Links to Al-Qaeda Arrested for Disappearance of Flight #MH370"

And this is why wingnuts are blaming the Malaysian airliner disappearance on Obama:  Because he failed to totally obliterate Al Qaida like Bush and Cheney did.

Wait a minute there:  "Malaysian police on Sunday rejected a British report linking the missing Malaysian flight with al-Qaeda, described it as “rubbish.”

Foiled again, Jim.  I wonder how long it will be before Jim admits he was hilariously wrong, or takes his post down.

Wait a minute, a former Harvard professor of Constitutional law "doesn’t even share a ‘nodding acquaintance’ with the Constitution"?

Thanks for these regular reminders of how much crazy is out there, even if they create the feeling of shoveling out something rather nastier than tornado debris.

Well, that's what you get when a tornado hits a wingnut.

I live Oklahoma, and I would resent you observation if it wasn't funny.

I'm not particularly concerned with Obama's aquaintance with the Constitution; I'm concerned with him waving it bye-bye.
A KILL LIST?? Seriously?

Paul, don't be too sad. I'm working in North Carolina right now.

That's an impressive list of loonies!

" Rand Paul: GOP must grow [up] to win"

GE, there was a typo in the Town Hall headline, but I've corrected it.
