Republicans Vote to Force Sharia Law on American Workers

Well, that's the headline that we should be using about the despicable Blunt amendment narrowly rejected by the Senate, because that is what it would allow Muslim business owners to do.  Funny, it's okay for the Republican party to spend years accusing Obama of bringing Sharia law to America when everyone knows that is a total lie, but when Republicans in Congress vote openly to do exactly that, there is no one with a public voice who will point it out.

I know I am harping about this lately, but how do Democrats expect American voters to see the truth when there is not a major person willing to say it out loud?

Here's the fundamental difference, Green Eagle.

Under sharia law, an action like abortion or whatever is outlawed. Period.

What the GOP was trying to do was simply not have the government pay for it. See, we all have a right to run our own lives, but you don't have a right to demand free stuff from other people. That is a violation of their fundamental rights.

No, no, no, Silverfiddle.

"(ii) such coverage (in the case of individual coverage) is contrary to the religious beliefs or moral convictions of the purchaser or beneficiary of the coverage."

As usual, you are ignoring the simple truth. This bill would have allowed Muslim employers to deny medical coverage to employees if it violated Sharia law. Coming from a bunch of liars that have spent four years of accusing Obama of trying to do exactly that, it's pretty pathetic.

Silly me. Here I thought the government doesn't pay for abortions, and Republcians want abortion outlawed.

I wonder if the pregnant women forced to endure a GOP mandated invasive medical procedure sense a violation of their fundamental rights.

They just need to learn they deserve fewer rights than men under Christo-sharia law.

There is virtually nothing that can't be found to offend the "moral convictions" of someone.

I guess it's OK with SF and his ilk if doctors/hospitals refused to take women pregnant with a biracial baby as patients, or if a Wiccan was left to bleed to death on the street after a stabbing.

Biracial now that's funny huh Silver?

The fact is that Republican leadership would welcome Sharia law because it would give them much more control over the hoi polloi.

Don't think for a minute that Obama wouldn't allow Sharia Law to trump our laws if he had to make that decision. I believe his allegiance is more with the Muslims that Americans, The killing of Bin Laden I believe he gave the go ahead for was not for America but his own advancement.

Given that there is not one shred of evidence for any of this, there's a name for this kind of thinking, Anonymous: paranoid delusions.

Of course, there is another name for it too: traitorous lies. Which doe you prefer?
