March for Trump!

I reported a few days ago on the predictable humiliation that the first round of pro-Trump demonstrations, called for by Trump himself, turned out to be.  Well, here's the rest.  I don't want to beat this thing into the ground, so I will just show a few random pictures:

The one in Nashville (second to last picture) seems to have gotten several hundred people, which is still pathetic, but the rest were gigantic failures as usual, including the one in Washington DC, which seems to  have attracted about 200, as opposed to the 500,000 that showed up for the Women's march a few weeks ago.  We'll just note this one down for history, and move on.

Those are just "fake numbers."

The differences in turnout between these and the Women's Marches are on the order of a thousand to one. Even allowing for the fact that Trump's support is heavily rural, that's astonishing. Numbers of votes measure quantity of support, but not enthusiasm. Clearly our side is a lot more energized, which bears out what we've been seeing in town halls and public reaction to Republicans' actions in Congress.

That's the best we can hope for, since the next election is 20 months away. Until then, public pressure is our only tool for stopping their crap from going through.
