The Full Crazy
If you want a real taste of how utterly insane the right is these days, click on this link to a Right Wing Watch post, and listen to the first audio excerpt, which explains how Obama killed Antonin Scalia as part of a pagan human sacrifice ritual.
I repeat something I have had to say over and over again. There is absolutely zero possibility of rational discourse with people like this. Half insane delusion and half an in-your-face demonstration that they will do anything, no matter how loathsome, to get what they want, this represents something that is beyond the pale of normal political behavior to deal with.
If you wonder how the Nazis got the German people to go along with their insanity, the answer can be found in this short excerpt.

According to American Original, Salvatore Eugene Scalia was seventeen when he arrived at Ellis Island - in 1920. Mussolini didn't even come to power in Italy until 1922!
Green Eagle, did you know you were lying when you made that comment, or didn't you even double-check the statement because it sounded too good to be false?
The truth is that Scalia's father only worked for the Mussolini dictatorship from afar:
"How did Antonin become the curmudgeon he has evolved into? Perhaps we need simply to look at his dad, Eugene Scalia. He had enormous influence on Justice Scalia. He sent his son to military school where they had to pledge allegiance to Mussolini...Scalia Sr. founded the American Fascist Party in 1934 only two years before Antonin was born... he was a member of the American-Italian Fascist Party during Mussolini’s regime in the 1930s. He’s a man who is well in the tradition of Franco and Mussolini."

So I was wrong in what I remembered, but not in the claim that Scalia was raised by a strong partisan of Mussolini, and dedicated Fascist.
This, by the way, places Scalia well within the tradition of the Bush family, and the Koch brothers, both of whose ancestors were strong supporters of Nazi Germany.
(1) Just because it's on the web doesn't mean it's true. "VegasJessie" claims that he got the information from Alan Dershowitz, but his link doesn't lead to anything by Dershowitz. It sends us to Plutocrap, which in turn leads us to claims by Mike Papantonio, who doesn't even give us a reference to where Dershowitz made his claim. The trail ends with Mike Papantonio.
Papantonio can't even get his stories straight. Elsewhere, he said that Scalia's grandfather was the founder of the New York Fascist Party.
(2) The answers.com website admits that it made a mistake by spreading the rumor that Salvatore Eugene Scalia was a fascist. I'll quote the webpage in question:
There is an indefensible rumor circulating on the internet that Justice Antonin Scalia's father, S. Eugene Scalia, founded the American Fascist Party in 1934. Although we unintentionally helped perpetuate this misinformation, research indicates the rumor is false. . . .
There is no evidence suggesting Justice Scalia's father even supported fascism, although that was a common allegation against Italians in the years between WWI and WW II.
It adds that there was no such thing as the "American Fascist Party" at the time.
Given a choice between answers.com and an unsourced assertion by Mike Panantonio, I'll choose answers.com
(3) Salvatore Eugene Scalia was prominent enough to merit an obituary in the New York Times. He died in 1985, before Antonin became a member of SCOTUS, so he didn't get in as a relative of someone famous. The obituary mentions his academic background, but says nothing about fascism.
Are you going to admit vegasjessie was wrong?
