Wingnut Wrapup

Ha ha- the upside down comment of the year:

Kevin Glass, Town Hall:  "Harry Reid and Senate Dems Refuse To Actually Legislate"

"Legislate," in this case, meaning "caving in and letting the Republican minority do whatever it wants."  Kevin actually blames Democrats for requiring a 60-vote majority to pass amendments, apparently forgetting the 500 or so times the Republicans have filibustered to death bills which had majority support.

And the most pathetic attempt lately to exonerate the Bush administration from responsibility for Iraq;

John Ransome, Town Hall:  " The trouble in Iraq didn’t start in 2003, or in 1990—the First Gulf War—or with the toppling of the Shah of Iran in 1979. Or in operation “Ajax” in 1953 when we deposed the government of Iran and installed the Shah in its place.  Everything in history is part of what came before it."

Except when Obama does it, of course.

John Ransome, Town Hall:  "Hey UAW: IF You Don't Like Politics, Then Don't Be Political "

Yeah.  Leave that to the professionals- the Koch brothers.  Ordinary people don't have a right to be political.  They just need to shut up and take what they are given by their betters, the "job creators."

Austin Hill, Town Hall:  "What could possibly help elevate the earnings of entry-level workers better than a new minimum wage law? How about a thriving economy and near-zero unemployment!"

Yeah.  How about that!  Let's all just wish and Tinkerbelle will come back to life everybody will have a job!  That's lots better than dealing with reality, right?  Don't you feel so much better about things now?

Doug Giles, Town Hall:  "3 Ways God Responds To Wicked Leaders...
1. He laughs at the people and rulers who snub his ways...Not only does he laugh at these wicked rulers who seek autonomy but he also scoffs at them and holds ‘em in derision."
2. God rebukes the people and the rulers crapping on the nation. “Rebuke” is a word we don’t hear much of anymore, which makes me like it all the more. Rebuke is sharp or harsh disapproval...
3. Not only does God laugh, scoff and rebuke the unrighteous acts of ingrate leaders, Pslam 2 also states that He is out to terrify him. What does that mean? I don’t know..."

Well, I am sure that those wicked leaders lost a lot of sleep, worrying about God laughing at them.  I am sure they were really terrified.

How on earth can people be this stupid?  That's all I want to know.  I mean, I know Doug isn't a big enough moron to believe this nonsense himself.  But how can he be stupid enough to think that any other sentient being could be induced to accept that Hitler or Stalin, or Genghis Khan really cared whether God was laughing at them.  Or whether Bush and Cheney cared either, while we are on the subject of wicked leaders.

Debra Saunders, Town Hall:  ""Pee in a cup" is a phrase you should prepare to hear frequently this election season."

Well, I'm sure glad to hear that.  If there is one thing our elections have been missing it's more peeing in a cup, right?

Kara Jones, Town Hall:  "Dinesh D'Souza Mysteriously Absent From New York Times Bestseller List"

He mysteriously didn't sell enough books- if you don't count the ones bought in bulk by Conservative propaganda factories to cheat the system.  Clearly a liberal plot, since we all know that only liberals actually buy books to read.

Rick Moran, PJ Media:  "IRS Canceled E-Mail Storage Firm Contract Just Weeks After Lerner Computer Crash... how many coincidences are we supposed to accept as innocent?"

This one really interested me.  So, a bunch of Lois Lerner's e-mails were lost, long before the Republicans started harping on their non-existent IRS scandal, and the Republicans are now trying to sell the American public on the notion that this was some kind of conspiracy to destroy evidence before anyone had thought to make this an issue.  That I understand.  But can someone tell me how the IRS reacting to this incident by firing the guys who lost the data can possibly be part of the plot?  Oh well, I guess anyone who can make themselves believe that rescuing an American prisoner of war is an act of treason can swallow the idea that firing incompetent people is a vicious plot, without a problem.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Polish Foreign Minister: Country’s Relationship With US “Isn’t Worth Anything”

That's the headline. Later in his article, Jim has this to say:

"There has been no official confirmation that it is Sikorski (the Polish Foreign Minister) who speaks in the conversation."

They don't call Jim the Dumbest Man on the Internet for nothing.

Wes Vernon, Renew America:  "Who says Obama will leave at the end of his second term?"

Everyone except crazy people, Wes.

Sher Zieve, Renew America:  "US republic now gone--fully replaced by dictatorship"

Gee, and I hadn't even noticed.

Gina Miller, Renew America:  "Who will stop the criminal Barack Obama?"

The criminal Barack Obama.  That would, I presume, be a different one than the guy in the White House.  Like his evil twin or something.  And here I don't even know what the criminal Barack Obama is doing that needs stopping.  Gina continues:

"Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) and his administration have become so blatantly lawless that non-zombie Americans are more furious than ever that no one in power will move to hold him and his collaborators accountable for their illegal actions against the United States."

Non-zombie Americans.  And you don't even want to know how angry the zombie-Americans are.

Jerome Corsi, World Net Daily:  "Sheriff Joe closing in on Obama forger"

Curiously enough, this article, full of the usual right wing invective, never had one thing to say about closing in on the Obama birth certificate forger.  What a surprise, huh?

Jeannie De Angelis, American Thinker:  "America is Importing the Problems Abortion Was Supposed to Eliminate"

Importing what? French cheese?

Katie Pavlich, Town Hall:  " It Could Take A Decade to Get to the Bottom of "Lost" IRS Emails"

Oh boy! That will take us through the rest of Obama's Presidency and all of Hillary's!  That's really something to look forward to.

Kurt Schlichter, Town Hall:  "The Establishment’s Conspiracy to Silence Conservatives Could Destroy Our Country"

And it's working so well, Kurt!  Why, you and your Conservative friends are forbidden from saying anything in public.

Mark Baisley, Town Hall:  "Thanks to Science, the Left Can't Get Away with it Anymore...In the early 1600s, Galileo got into trouble with the ruling class for theorizing that the Earth revolves around the sun. This was the 17th Century version of not being politically correct.  Liberal professors seem to have taken up the Roman Inquisition’s assertion that the Earth is the center of the universe (environmentalism, climate change, etc). Hard-left politicians assert that the government is the center of the universe. Union thugs believe that they are the center of the universe. "

Let's see, then:  Attacking the Church in the 1600's was actually the Conservative thing to do, and believing in climate change is the same as claiming the earth is the center of the universe.   What do they pay these guys for spewing pathetic lies like this?

And the latest idiotic attempt to prove that Obamacare is failing:

Kevin Glass, Town Hall:  "Obamacare Death Spiral? Newly-Insured Are Sicker...The Wall Street Journal this week reported on a new analysis of the pool of newly-insured customers under Obamacare. The takeaway: new customers are on the whole sicker than the previously-insured."

People that didn't have insurance are generally in less good health than people who did.  Who would have ever guessed?  Well, no one ever told us that Obamacare was going to provide services to people who were sick!  Away with it right now!

Bruce Bialoski, Town Hall:  "Benghazi and Hillary...By now you must be pretty sick of reading and hearing about Hillary Clinton. Personally, I am ready for No Mas."

Sure you are.  That's why you are writing another column with more lies on the subject.

Chris Versace, Town Hall:  "Do Janet Yellen and the Fed Get The Economy?"

Chris Versace is "the editor of PowerTrend Brief — a FREE, weekly electronic newsletter."   Janet Yellin is a former Harvard economics professor.  Who are you putting your money on?

And enough.  As I feared, the crazy in wingnut world seems to be on the increase, leading up to the next election.  Don't worry though, Green Eagle has it covered.
