A Truly Mammoth Story

That will undoubtedly get far less attention from the mainstream press than, say, Michelle Obama's shopping trip to Target.  From Bloomberg:

"A Bloomberg Markets investigation has found that Koch Industries -- in addition to being involved in improper payments to win business in Africa, India and the Middle East -- has sold millions of dollars of petrochemical equipment to Iran, a country the U.S. identifies as a sponsor of global terrorism.

Internal company documents show that the company made those sales through foreign subsidiaries, thwarting a U.S. trade ban."

From the number one source of financing for the Teabaggers, a true taste of what patriotism means when it stands in the way of profits.  Because the Koch Brothers' $50 billion net worth is just not enough- they have to give aid to our enemies to make even more.  But like I said, Michelle's shopping habits or Barack's preacher are far more important than this act of open treason.  To Republicans, government exists to benefit the rich, so by definition, whatever rich people want cannot be treason.

oh so they are all in on it I guess.
Maybe the protesters should be marching on DC like the Tea Party did. It's where it's all emulating from. Theypretty much wan the same things. Maybe instead of the citizens going against each other, they should be together.

All in on it? No, they are all suckers, squawking about patriotism, while doing the bidding of impossibly rich people who will sell the country out in a second. This is the reality of the American right- traitors and suckers. And you are all helping to destroy the country. Thanks a lot, guy.

oh please no on give 2 craps about us especially the govt' who is only interested in power. Talk about pushing the snooze button.
If you don't think the gov't is equally about power and greed then we can forget about ever getting us back on track, but being they are so big I think that is going to be impossible . It's not like we have tons of options.

The Tea Party would've had some legitimacy if they weren't immediately co-opted by the Richest 1% of whom the Koch Roaches are the prime movers.

The 1% decided that getting their duped tea baggers to blame all their woes on that black guy while they steal more Trillions from America was the right way to go.

And it worked!

Gene,

I have followed the tea party since the beginning. They were not co-opted by the rich, they were created by the rich.
