Republican Failure Again

I guess I will just go on pointing these things out, since of course the mainstream press has no interest in drawing the monumentally obvious conclusion:

"On November 20, minutes after President Barack Obama delivered a speech explaining his executive action on immigration reform that would protect millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) took to Fox News and called on tea partiers everywhere to come to Washington to protest.

"Bachmann, the head of the House tea party caucus...declared she would be leading a protest on Capitol Hill. "I'm calling on your viewers to come to DC on Wednesday, December 3, at high noon on the west steps of the Capitol," she proclaimed. "We need to have a rally, and we need to go visit our senators and visit our congressman, because nothing frightens a congressman like the whites of his constituents' eyes…We need the viewers to come and help us."

Other than Michelle, Ted Cruz, Steve King, Louie Gohmert and a pack of gullible reporters, 40 people showed up, despite heavy coverage on the Gateway Pundit, at the Washington times, and the usual collection of right wing lie factories.  40 people.  To see a large assortment of the brightest right wing stars in existence.

In case you want to punish yourself further with this story, here's an article from the website at MSNBC about the rally today, which carefully avoids until the last sentence any mention of the number of people who showed up, and certainly didn't dare show a picture of the "crowd."  This is the treatment these idiots get from the supposed liberal end of the mainstream press.

And I must add that my desultory search failed to turn up any visual evidence of who showed up.  These "rallies" are great for Conservatives to get attention from their press collaborators, and are then just forgotten when they fail miserably.  Because letting people actually know what is going on in the country is not what the press exists for any more.

When are they going to figure out that there is no there there?  When are they going to get tired of being endlessly exploited by a mirage?  Or to be more specific, will that happen before or after the country collapses?
