Exploding Heads? I Don't Think So

Here's a bit of a screen capture from Charles Johnson, a person with years of experience following right wingers, showing how, even at this point, people on the left fail to understand the dishonesty that underlies right wing propaganda:

So the House Intelligence Committee, with (obviously) a Republican majority, found absolutely nothing wrong with the Obama Administration's handling of the Benghazi tragedy.  But as for heads exploding:  I took a look this morning at all of the sites that I normally watch to include in Wingnut Wrapup, and guess what?  Not one of them had a single article about this committee and its report.

That's right- their heads didn't explode, they just ignored this humiliation and moved right on with all of their other phony scandals.  And don't count Benghazi out yet.  In a couple of weeks, when they think their followers are sufficiently past remembering this, they will be back on Benghazi again.

Never underestimate the dishonesty of the right.

And by the way, great dog, huh?


A Little Update:  From Media Matters, this rather unsurprising report:

"Fox News has gone silent on Benghazi amid reports that the House Intelligence Committee concluded that there was no intentional wrongdoing in the Obama administration's response to the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya."

As long as their base believes it, truth does not matter. They will still claim a WH coverup, a very good WH coverup.

Yeah, they just have to wait until things have grown a little hazy in peoples' minds, and they can trot out the lies again. And there is still at least one more "investigation" to go.

Wingnuts Slightly Annoyed about that $83 Million

How can you look like a decrepit old geezer and an out of control two year old at the same time? I thought it might be nice to look in on wingnut world to see how they are taking yesterday's $83 million dollar Trump legal loss.  You kind of know that they will decide it shouldn't affect their opinion of him in any way, but it might be helpful to see just how the Republican party has trained them to reject any fact they don't like.  Not that surprisingly, a lot of the usual wingnut suspects didn't touch this loss at all, preferring to just ignore anything that interferes with their hateful daydreams, but here are a few excerpts from an article at Gateway Pundit, along with a sample of the hundreds of comments it received.  Enjoy.  Or not.  And nobody hears it, is it really running for President at all? First of all, a note about my absence lately:  My wife got me to sign up for an account at Threads, which is sort of like X without the assholes.  I've spent a little time establishing myself there, and I have to say, I do like the relatively immediate exchange of views, but I don't mean to give up my blog- there are still so many things that can't be dealt with in a couple hundred words, so, perhaps to your dismay, I am back.
