They are Trying to Kill Us

I was originally going to title this post "Are they trying to kill us?  but at this point, I don't think there is really any question.

Most of us have heard this abominable news:

"Director Of Key Federal Vaccine Agency Files Whistleblower Complaint...Dr. Rick Bright was abruptly removed from his position as head of BARDA after he questioned the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine, "a drug promoted by the administration as a panacea, but which clearly lacks scientific merit...Bright had been in charge of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, known as BARDA, which recently received more than $3 billion in federal funds to help ramp up production capacity so that any discovery of a coronavirus vaccine can be quickly manufactured and distributed to hundreds of millions of Americans. His removal from the post stunned lawmakers who had been pushing for a more robust vaccine effort."

But maybe you haven't heard this:

"HHS Secretary Azar turned over the management of the coronavirus crisis to inexperienced dog breeder...Azar was apparently so cool with the leadership provided by his chief of staff, dog dude Brian Harrison, that he didn’t feel the need to engage with epidemiologists, or doctors, or any of the numerous agencies that should have been pulled into early planning.  Instead, Azar put Harrison—just back in D.C. from six years of running his family puppy mill—in charge of the entire nation’s entire coronavirus response."

A Labradoodle breeder.  In charge of our nation's entire coronavirus response.  And let's not forget the guy who appointed him, who was in turn hand picked by Donald Trump:

"From 2012 to 2017, Azar was President of the U.S. division of Eli Lilly and Company, a major drug company, and a member of the board of directors of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, a large pharmaceutical trade association."

A parmaceutical company executive, which is either better or worse than a labradoodle breeder, depending on how you look at it.

And have no mistake about the "us" that the Trump administration is trying to kill.  People in his base have been systematically propagandized to believe that the coronavirus is almost entirely striking blue states.  The "us" referred to here?  Black people, Jews, liberals, Democrats.  And don't you dare be a big enough fool to think that Republicans don't have that in mind when they make decisions like this.
