"I think there is in this country a war on religion. "I think there is a desire to establish a religion in America known as secularism."
If Rick Santorum said something like this, you might be tempted to think that he really meant it. When Mitt Romney says it, it is nothing but a lie. Get ready- lies are all we are going to get from Romney for the next eight months.

With republican, everything is a war...fucking warmongers!
If the Republicans didn't have lies they'd be left only with their rank bigotry!
If republicans didn't have lie, they wouldn't have shit!
Romney understands the circular nature of what he said there and must be having a hearty liar's chuckle about it, but just to take it at face value for a sec...
Can you tell these people to stop having a war on your secularism and, since it’s a religion, get a tax exemption for it?
Oh, and by the way… how many secularists have blown themselves up, flown jets into buildings, and said god hates gays lately?
I'm with Magpie, but wonder why the outright political organizations cloaked as religion don't have their tax exemptions revoked? How far would taxing the Catholic Church go to reducing the budget deficit?
I'm with you, Mastercynic. When I hear Catholics boiling with rage over having to pay for medication, I wonder how they would feel to know how furious I am at having to pay, throught their tax exemptions, to support child rape.
