Bush Immigration Policy Worked!

Yes, finally we can see the proof- the Bush administration policy to bring illegal immigration to a standstill has paid off:

"Net Migration from Mexico Falls to Zero—and Perhaps Less...The largest wave of immigration in history from a single country to the United States has come to a standstill. After four decades that brought 12 million current immigrants—more than half of whom came illegally—the net migration flow from Mexico to the U.S. has stopped and may have reversed."

And all Bush and Cheney had to do to accomplish this amazing feat was crush our economy so there were no jobs to be had here!  Why couldn't those Democratic smarty pants elitists have thought of that?  Once again, proof of the superiority of Republican policy.

Just another example of the republican scorch-earth policy to accomplish a political goal.

and in comes Obama Delano Roosevelt to exasperate the situation while still Blaming Bush.

Blame Bush all you want but the real blame sits with FDR,LBJ and WW

WW? Now you're blaming Woody Woodpecker? Man, you wingnuts have no shame.

The brilliant Caro biography leads me to believe that LBJ was, perhaps, the greatest president this country has ever had, while remaining a truly despicable human being. It's too bad the primary process will prevent us from ever seeing his like again.

Mastercynic,

Too bad that isn't a universal prescription, or we'd be remembering Dick Cheney as the world's greatest statesman since, oh, I don't know, maybe Reinhard Heydrich.

Cheney was a result of the primary process that nominated a greedy congenital idiot with daddy issues.
