Splits in GOP Senators' Reactions!

Another exquisite example of the reporting that we have come to expect and love from our liberal media; the following headline at the Washington Post this morning:

"The revealing splits in GOP senators’ reactions to impeachment"

Revealing splits! See, Republicans are thinking people that are analyzing this and drawing their own conclusions!  Hallelujah!

And what are these "revealing splits?"  Here are the numbers the Post found:

Support Trump Unequivocally:  39
Have expressed concerns or said they have questions:  14
Support the impeachment inquiry:  0

Revealing splits!  So, here is what we really have:  39 Republican Senators are going to refuse to recognize that Trump has done a thing wrong, no matter what, 14 are going to do the exact same thing, after writing a "strongly worded" letter expressing mild confusion, and zero are going to do what is right for the country.

Revealing splits!  Sort of like the Nazis that argued about whether to invade Austria or Czechoslovakia first.  And go ahead, someone out there, and criticize me for comparing Republicans to Nazis. At this point that is a pretty silly argument.

Well, that is actually revealing, though not in the way the headline writer intended. I figured none of them would dare oppose Trump as long as his base stays with him, and that looks like it's exactly what's happening.

Susan Collins always does this thing of expressing "grave concern" and then voting with the party. I guess 14 of them have decided to go that route now.

Well, Susan Collins has become the poster child for this behavior, but it is a great Republican tradition.

I think they were reporting on their hair, split ends you know!
