Green Eagle's Paranoid Fantasy of the Day

So, the near miracle happens and the Democrats win back the House in November.  The Republicans, knowing perfectly well that both Trump and Pence are up to their necks in treasonous collusion with the Russians, are aware that the minute the new House is sworn in, a Democrat will become next in line to be President, and will therefore force Trump and Pence to resign in December, and Paul Ryan, a miserable, morally bankrupt man with a long record of putting party over country, will become President of the United States.

If they are willing to stoop to any kind of dirty behavior to rig the Supreme Court, don't think for a second that they wouldn't do the same with the Presidency.  I don't know what kind of threats it would take to get Trump out of the White House, but I am sure they are up to it.

If the Democrats take the House Ryan will not be Speaker. If they don't take the House it will be odds of 999,999,999 to one Ryan won't be Speaker because he will be retired.

Ryan will still be speaker from election day until the new House is sworn in shortly after New Years day, 2019.

Interesting scenario! I think I now know why Paul Ryan is not running for re-election, but is staying on until a new Congress is sworn in in January instead of resigning now. If Trump and Pence both are impeached or resign, he becomes president. His presidency does not end when a new congress is installed, but will continue until he resigns, is impeached, or voted out of office in 2020.

A party that would hold open a surpreme court seat for about a year would have no qualms about putting Ryan in the presidency to hold on it it until 2020, actually Jan 2021.

I still fear a Pence presidency, that he will survive Trump's day of reckoning.

To be frank Pence alarms me more than Trump or Ryan. Stupid and shady respectively, Trump and Ryan are transparent but ultimately serve only themselves.
Pence would kill a billion because he dreamed of Jesus... is my gut feel about him. There is an unnerving religious fanaticism there.

Wingnuts Slightly Annoyed about that $83 Million

How can you look like a decrepit old geezer and an out of control two year old at the same time? I thought it might be nice to look in on wingnut world to see how they are taking yesterday's $83 million dollar Trump legal loss.  You kind of know that they will decide it shouldn't affect their opinion of him in any way, but it might be helpful to see just how the Republican party has trained them to reject any fact they don't like.  Not that surprisingly, a lot of the usual wingnut suspects didn't touch this loss at all, preferring to just ignore anything that interferes with their hateful daydreams, but here are a few excerpts from an article at Gateway Pundit, along with a sample of the hundreds of comments it received.  Enjoy.  Or not.  And nobody hears it, is it really running for President at all? First of all, a note about my absence lately:  My wife got me to sign up for an account at Threads, which is sort of like X without the assholes.  I've spent a little time establishing myself there, and I have to say, I do like the relatively immediate exchange of views, but I don't mean to give up my blog- there are still so many things that can't be dealt with in a couple hundred words, so, perhaps to your dismay, I am back.
