A Must Read from Daily Kos

The horrors of the Bush administration are growing faint to so many people.  Some polls see his approval rating preposterously positive these days.  Here is an article from Daily Kos today, concisely reminding us of what a disaster that eight years was, and what a sickening legacy it has left us.  I strongly suggest that you take a few minutes to read it, to remind yourself that a repeat of the Bush years is just one bad election away.

The right wing blogs I follow are constantly ablaze with posts declaring that Obama is the worst President in history.  This is nothing but an attempt to blot out the memory of the real worst President in history, their darling George W. Bush.  We must never allow ourselves to forget his legacy, or, to paraphrase Santayana, we will be doomed to repeat it.

Look Green Eagle, I'm of two minds on this. I believe the Right will mostly succeed in this effort. They still vilify Jimmy Carter as the worst President in history, and cling to the Bircher Pearl Harbor Lie that FDR knew the attack was coming (the original truther movement).

On demonizing Liberals and Democrats, the Right is solid and never off message.

But, their Tea Party Creation is causing cracks in the united front and liberals are realizing they must remain vigilant and no longer play nice with a cadre of evil, whose entire goal is to subjugate and oppress America in order to please their Rich Masters.

A president that led us into two endless wars and a crashed economy should never be considered even acceptable. The pain and suffering that his administration unleashed on the world is unforgivable.

You've got to be funny when talking about it. Think about the alternative- hanging yourself from a lamp post.
