Wingnut Wrapup

Most of the time these days I am too sickened by what is on the right wing internet, but here's a little of the more fun stuff, with a couple of non-internet things here too, starting off with an opinion piece from the allegedly liberal Washington Post:

Marc A. Theissen, Washington Post:  "Khashoggi’s disappearance is...a betrayal of President Trump.

Really?  How so?  Is he disappointed he didn't have a chance to get in there with the bone saw?  No, he never does his own dirty work, he always uses some discardable sucker.

"Many Democrats taking shots at the president as he tries to figure out a path forward need to check their hypocrisy. As my American Enterprise Institute colleague Danielle Pletka pointed out, “if you can’t restrain yourself from blaming Trump, spare a moment to blame [President Barack] Obama for the war in Syria"

And for everything else on earth that right wingers don't like. I'm still blaming FDR for the Cleveland Indians losing the Series in 1954.  Give me a chance to catch up, Marc.

"Trump should make clear...that, unlike Saudi Arabia, the United States is not a monarchy."

He'll have trouble doing that until he figures it out himself.

Matt Vespa, Town Hall:  "Tomahawk Warren's Native American Heritage Claim Got Scalped...And Liberal America Doesn't Know What To Do"

Except, of course, that the claim was proven to be absolutely true, not that such a thing is a concern to Republicans.

John Dempsey, Town Hall:  "Trump Has Freed the Republican Party from the Media"

He's freed them from the truth, anyway.  Form your own opinion about whether that is a good or bad thing.

Lauretta Brown, Town Hall:  "March for Life Unveils 'Unique From Day One' Theme Arguing That the Pro-Life Movement Is Pro-Science"

Did I just mention something about Republicans being free from the truth?  I think I did.

Katie Pavlich, Town Hall:  "Judicial Watch Files Bar Complaint Against Lawyers For Christine Blasey Ford"

Judicial Watch! Yes, they are still around, filing fallacious and meritless lawsuits against Democrats almost every day, and having them rejected out of hand by the courts.  Care to hear more?  Try this article from 2016, detailing their 20 lawsuits  extant at that time against Hillary Clinton, or this more general treatment of this organization.

Pat "Never met a Nazi I didn't like" Buchanan, Town Hall:  "Caravan Puts Trump Legacy on the Line"

If only a few hundred poor people from Honduras could do that.  It sure would make George Soros funding them look like an act of genius.

And the right is sure disappointed with Taylor Swift these days, because she didn't turn out to be Elsa Koch:

Octavio Rivera, Daily Stormer:  "I don’t get a warm tingle in my belly when I read one of my guys unironically lamenting the loss of Taylor Swift.  I have to tell you the truth.  Taylor Swift is probably a tranny.

Mr. Swift now acting like a soyboy would make perfect sense, if he is a soyboy. “She” must have been on puberty blockers and estrogen from an early age, and had some surgeries, but it’s still possible that “she” was born with a penis and a pair of testicles."

And just for an added comment, try this:

"The female brain does not really develop much after puberty. They’re emotional, self-centered creatures that would be entirely useless creatures if not for their wombs. They all also have severe mental retardation that is not grossly apparent to the untrained eye"

Although, if Taylor Swift is really a man, I don't get why this comment is in Octavio's piece.  And just to complete the story, here is an illustration from the article:

Not quite sure how that fits into the tale, but there it is.  And here she is, too:

A man, yes sir.  It's so obvious when you point it out.

And now, a major reason why I have pretty much stopped doing Wingnut Wrapups.  How can these paid liars hope to compete with the President of the United States?  Here is a series of comments that the President has made about the American jobs that will be lost if the United States backs out of the (largely fictional) arms deals we supposedly have with the Saudis:

Mar. 20, 2018: “We’re talking about over 40,000 jobs in the United States."
Oct. 13, 2018: “It’s 450,000 jobs.”
Oct. 17, 2018: “It’s 500,000 jobs.”
Oct. 19, 2018: “I’d prefer that we not cancel $110 billion worth of work, which means 600,000 jobs.”
Oct. 19, 2018 (a few hours later): “600,000 jobs, maybe more than that."
Oct. 19, 2018 (a few hours later after that): “So now if you’re talking about – that was $110 billion – you know, you’re talking about over a million jobs.”

The entire US military industry currently employs about 360,000 people.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Illegal Aliens Chant “Si Se Puede!” as Caravan of Invaders Swells to 14,000"

It'll be 14,000,000 in a few days if we let Donald Trump do the counting.

And if you don't have enough to worry about, this is from a recent QAnon publication:

Really, what can you say?  It could be true.

Sarah Hoyt, PJ Media:  "Leftists Use Children to Make Political Points"

Republicans would never do that- at least after they are born.  On the other hand, no one needs to wonder about why Republicans put children in concentration camps.  We can all figure that one out.

John Ellis, PJ Media:  "The Greatest American Rock Bands of All Time"

Oh God, you don't even want to know.  Let it suffice to say that the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead weren't on the list.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "AWFUL! Classless Barack Obama Continues Midterm Campaigning"

Of course, it's just fine for Donald Trump to spend millions in taxplayer dollars flying all over the place for his egomaniacal Nuremburg rallies.

Christina Laila, Gateway Pundit:  "President Trump on Ted Cruz: “To Me He’s Not Lyin’ Ted Anymore, He’s Beautiful Ted”

Okay then.  And how to explain Trump's sudden change of opinion?  Did he just realize that as loathsome as the guy is, he never cut anyone up with a bone saw, which is apparently enough to win Trump's seal of approval?  Well, here's an alternate explanation from one of the comments on this article:

"A great man is magnanimous in Victory. And Trump is that."

Like to ask Hillary about that?

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "DAG Rosenstein Must Answer, “What Crime the Mueller ‘Witch Hunt’ Was Created to Address?” If He Can’t He Should Be in Jail!"

What crime, Jim?  Treason, that's what crime.  Satisfied now?

Stanley Zir, Renew America:  "Chronicling Obama's coup: Revisited"

And what is the evidence of this coup that Stanley presents?  I kid you not, here it is:

"Last week, officials from Public Health England (PHE) proposed a sweeping measure to limit the number of calories that supermarkets, restaurants, and other businesses are allowed to have in their ready-to-eat meals. While the details are still being fleshed out, one specific proposal is a calorie limit of 928 for a pizza."

That was really the evidence.  An alleged limit on calories in pizza in England.  Evidence that Obama conducted a coup in the United States.  I mean, how can people be so stupid?

And a comment reprinted from an article Stanley wrote in 2011:

"I can just imagine, a few years from now, coming home and seeing my wife being taken away in handcuffs. And I ask her, "What is going on?" And she says, "I had an extra piece of cheesecake," as she's forced into the police car."

And that came true, didn't it?  Stanley's wife is now in prison for getting fat.  What?  She's not?  Surely you must be mistaken.  I mean, he is citing this fact as proof that he was right.

And now this shocking news:

Before it's news:  "JFK JR. RETURNS FROM THE DEAD TO AVENGE FATHER'S ASSASSINATION - WIFE AND SISTER ALIVE TOO (ALL THREE SURVIVED PLANE CRASH)...

After analyzing evidence presented from multiple parties, I have concluded that JFK Jr (along with his wife Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and her sister, Lauren Bessette, and others) have returned from the dead to avenge the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (JFK Jr’s Father)."

Oy.  This article features the following evidence, featuring an aerial view of John F. Kennedy's grave site, which is in the shape of a Q, an obvious reference, decades ahead of its existence, to QAnon.

Actually, I think they got the picture the wrong way:
See? Whoever designed this memorial was actually predicting the coming existence of P-Anon.

But at least one gigantic threat to our country is about to be resolved.

Before it's News:  "Hillary Arrest Warrant Issued to State Militias!"

And here I didn't even know that State militias arrested people.

"Hillary has been tied to assassination teams across the United States and needs to be arrested immediately.  State militias now authorized to arrest Hillary Clinton and others on sight."

And what for?  Benghazi?  the e-mails? the pizza parlor?  No, according to this article Hillary is to be arrested because she ordered the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, which she did because he knew too much about the Clinton murder of Vince Foster. I kid you not, that's what they claim.

And lest you think there is no immediately practical advice to be found on these right wing sites, examine this, which accompanied the above article for some reason:
No word about keeping your skull wrapped in foil too, but it couldn't hurt.

And it just goes on and on:

"VITAL INFORMATION: WEATHER TERRORISM OBLITERATES MAGA PANHANDLE"

but on the other hand:

"GREAT NEWS: Category 5 Hurricane Willa Headed Directly Toward 10,000 Migrant Caravan Path"

One hurricane is an evil liberal plot, the other one a welcome divine intervention.  And a couple more:
"FLU SHOT DESIGNED TO SPREAD CANCER DOCTOR ADMITS!"
"SURVEY REVEALS WHAT REALLY SCARES AMERICANS: #1 ON THE LIST MAY SURPRISE YOU"

Spiders?  That's my guess.  Or else having to read any more of Wingnut Wrapup.

"Tomahawk Warren's Native American Heritage Claim Got Scalped..."

What really frosts my cookies are people on the left (no names) blaming Elizabeth Warren for starting the whole fiasco in the first place. As if The Lyin' King hasn't been attacking her for the last couple years. If I recall correctly, it started over outrage that her Native ancestry was a consideration for her being accepted to an institution of higher learning.

My memory could be faulty--I had a major stroke on election day 2016 (no kidding, not a joke)--but Warren didn't wake up one day and decide she'd have her DNA analyzed and make a big deal out of it in the media.

You are damned right. I am infuriated. I guess even though she had absolutely positive evidence that Trump has been lying about her, she should have just kept her mouth shut, like Al Gore and John Kerry and Hillary in the face of the endless Republican smears. That tactic ha worked out so well for Democrats in the past. Now it is okay for Republicans to tell the most brazen lies about Democrats, I guess, but it is an abomination for them to defend themselves with the truth.

It's now become the standard Republican tactic to engage in the most loathsome character assassination of any Democrat as soon as they emerge as a potential national leader. And now, that tactic has become okay with the Berniebots and Jill Stein suckers out there, and other scaredy-cat Democrats that are too afraid of their own shadows that they can't stand up for the truth. There, I am willing to name some of them, may they rot in hell.

Too many on the left seem to be constitutionally incapable of mot buying into and parroting right wing rhetoric and talking points. When you let your opponent frame the terms you will virtually always lose.

Such a shame the Dems seem to have totally forgotten about Bill Clinton's rapid response team and Howard Dean's fifty state strategy.
