The Atrocity Continues

 I'm not talking about Ukraine here, but in our own country, where the endless prerequisite to the fall of democracy, endless lying, is part of our daily diet.  And here is another miserable example from a right wing monster, Mark Theissen, whom the Washington Post has seen fit to equip with regular access to the public consciousness.

Theissen's newest example deals with the worthless excrescence, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and his loathsome wife, who has openly been pushing the overthrow of our government for decades, to a chorus of total approval by her party.

"Mark Theissen, Washington Post:  "Here’s a question: If Justice Clarence Thomas has to recuse himself on cases relating to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot because of his wife, does that mean President Biden has to recuse himself on China and Ukraine because of his son and brother?"

Thomas is a virtually mute presence on the bench, having achieved the almost inconceivably record of virtually never commenting in oral argument in his decades on the bench.  It is very apparent that this is because he acts like the worst sort of Uncle Tom, taking his marching orders from his wife, who is little more than a fatter reincarnation of Magda Goebbels.  We deserve at least real people in Washington, not black sock puppets mouthing the white supremacist hatred of their relatives.

"...the fact that Democrats are crying foul over the Thomases while ignoring the Bidens shows that their concern about ethics is just cover for another attempted takedown of a respected conservative jurist."

A respected conservative jurist?  Sorry, Mark, but I remember that Thomas was known to be a right wing tool and empty suit from the day Republicans manipulated him onto the court.  We have since learned how he is little more than a tool for his wife, a woman totally animated by the most repugnant right wing hatred.  And let us be clear: in contrast, Biden has always been his own man, and has never been influenced by his relatives.  He is guilty of none of the endless smears Republicans launch at him.  Thomas needs to "recuse" himself permanently because he is a fool and a traitor, which Biden is not. Biden is a leader; Thomas is a front for his loathsome, unelected wife, and the fanatical right wing cabal she associates with.   

"This whole episode has nothing to do with a concern for judicial ethics. It is simply a continuation of what Clarence Thomas famously called the “high-tech lynching” he endured during his confirmation hearings."

It is not a "high tech lynching" to spend years fabricating lies about eating babies, about hundreds of mysterious bio-labs dedicated to perversion, and certainly owned by the Bidens, and all the other phony Republican claims about them; as usual, however, it is a "high tech lynching" to tell the truth about the malignant agenda that lies behind every single Republican leader in this country. 

When even the best reporting (and sad to say, the Washington Post is about as close as we get to that in this country) is watered down with this garbage, it is reduced to meaningless babble, which is utterly ineffective at combatting the endless propaganda from the right.    Well, that is what we are stuck with, apparently, and if Democrats don't spend the rest of this year recognizing that fact, our country is doomed.
