And In Other News

Today, Donald Trump, the World's Toughest Negotiator, caved on his signature issue, which he promised his supporters to do, literally hundreds of times: building his great wall.

He can't even get his own party to go along with him.  But of course, it's all the Democrats' fault for refusing to accept his offer of not kicking millions of people off of health insurance if they would help him get some kind of propaganda victory before his first hundred days are up, on Saturday.

Do you think this is the point where the mainstream press will start covering him solely and utterly as the miserable, worthless failure that he is?

Do you think this is the point where his approval rating among the people who voted for him will fall below 96%?

Nope.

His followers were already spinning this with the idea that it's a "metaphorical wall" or some such nonsense. I think even his voters understood this was never going to happen, but as long as he increases deportations, they're happy.

As long as he licenses them to hate, they will be happy, no matter how much he destroys their lives.

I, for one, am for wall building. You can never have too many walls.

I hear Australia is working to build a wall around Slovenia. I think Trump can help them by starting there. I understand Slovenia produces a lot of bad hombres who want to wreck America, and we need to keep them out.

Maybe we could start small...with a wall around Luxembourg. We should be able to get, say, Nigeria to pay for it, and it would give Trump a gigantic victory.

How about a solid wall around Mar-A-Lago with Trump inside?

Only if it's followed by a naval bombardment.
