Republicans Pack The Court With Fascists

The Republicans today succeeded in their year-long effort to force a hard right wing corrupt fascist onto the Supreme Court, in their effort to see to it that the Court represents nothing but rich sociopaths.  This campaign was a grotesque abuse of their authority, and is a major step toward their ultimate goal, which as I have been explaining for two or three decades, is to reduce the United States to a slave state.

Is there a single Democrat who will do the right thing and immediately introduce a resolution to impeach this anti-American criminal?  Of course, it will go nowhere in a Congress controlled by corrupt Republicans, but at least let his tenure be clouded over by the public declaration that a majority of Americans know that he has no place in our government.

The good news for you: plagiarism is a misdemeanor, which means we have a specific acceptable basis for impeachment.

I am not sure that plagiarism would count as a misdemeanor in the meaning of the word which was predominant at the time of the writing of the Constitution. It was not until the early decades of the nineteenth century that the term came to refer to a specific class of minor crimes; before then, it had the general meaning of "misbehavior." However, lying to Congress to hide your real intentions would be such a misdemeanor, and certainly would have justified the impeachment of Rehnquist, Scalia, Thomas and Alito for systematically hiding from the Senate their intended behavior on the Supreme Court. In any event, the clear fact that Trump assumed the Presidency through a continued sequence of acts of treason renders this, as well as everything else he does before he is removed himself the fruit of a very poison tree, and therefore illegitimate. Gorsuch is the intended tool of a traitor, and as such belongs in prison himself for going along with the treason.

Wingnuts Slightly Annoyed about that $83 Million

How can you look like a decrepit old geezer and an out of control two year old at the same time?  And nobody hears it, is it really running for President at all? First of all, a note about my absence lately:  My wife got me to sign up for an account at Threads, which is sort of like X without the assholes.  I've spent a little time establishing myself there, and I have to say, I do like the relatively immediate exchange of views, but I don't mean to give up my blog- there are still so many things that can't be dealt with in a couple hundred words, so, perhaps to your dismay, I am back.
