A Very Minor Corona Virus Observation

I have been working in Hawaii, where, as far as I know, there are zero cases of Corona Virus.  Every day, I drive to work down Kalakaua Avenue, which is the main street in Waikiki.
I was stunned to notice today (I hadn't paid any attention until now) that the number of people on the street was about half of what it has been every day since I got here months ago.

Hardly a major contribution to the Corona Virus discussion, but it shocked me.

I lived in Honolulu for six years, and knowing how much of the economy is based on tourism, Hawaii is going to have one hell of a problem soon, if not already.

Fortunately, VP Mike Pence is on the job now. I'm sure he will soon pray away the virus and we will be able to get on with our lives.

Wingnuts Slightly Annoyed about that $83 Million

How can you look like a decrepit old geezer and an out of control two year old at the same time?  And nobody hears it, is it really running for President at all? First of all, a note about my absence lately:  My wife got me to sign up for an account at Threads, which is sort of like X without the assholes.  I've spent a little time establishing myself there, and I have to say, I do like the relatively immediate exchange of views, but I don't mean to give up my blog- there are still so many things that can't be dealt with in a couple hundred words, so, perhaps to your dismay, I am back.
