The Avalanche Moves On

The avalanche of dung.

It never ends.  The horrors that are being perpetrated by the Republican administration are so endless that it is almost impossible to keep track of them, particularly with a mainstream press that will willingly be distracted by any infantile antic that Trump gets up to.  Here are a few things that are in the news the last three or four days:

"Trump Calls For Asylum-Seekers To Pay Fees"

Sheer bullying brutality, directed toward some of the most helpless people on earth.  And his "base" loves it, because they are all a inhuman as he is.

"Vice President Mike Pence took a break from railing against socialism Friday morning to accuse Democrats of supporting baby murder."

Trump and most other Republican leaders have jumped on this claim, despite it being one of the most disgusting lies the Republicans have ever told.  And that is a pretty high bar to
pass.
Republican trolls target Pete Buttigieg with false sexual assault claims"

Hardly need to comment on this one, other than to say that this is the treatment that all other Democratic Presidential candidates are going to experience.  This is going to be one hell of an election.

"Trump sues to block Deutsche Bank from turning over information to Congress"

Consciousness of guilt.  It is real legal evidence, and there never was a clearer example of it than the behavior of Donald Trump.

"Pompeo: Trump Admin ‘Fully Supports’ Military Uprising Against Venezuela Prez...CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says the Trump administration backs Venezuelan congressional leader Juan Guaido in his call for a military uprising against President Nicolas Maduro."

The problems in Venezuela were created, in large part, by the deliberate actions of our government.  This is all about seizing the resources of the Western Hemisphere's largest source of oil, and anyone who thinks differently is a lunatic.

"Bolton: Yes, We Agreed to Pay North Korea But We Didn’t"

Oh yeah?  And we should believe John Bolton that the money wasn't paid?

"Republicans block $250 million to beef up election security"

Because why would they want election security?  That would be the end of their time in control.

"Coalition of groups sues over Barr policy seeking to jail some asylum-seekers indefinitely"

Life in prison without having committed a crime.  Do not fool yourself- this behavior, directed toward those who are least available to defend themselves will, if allowed to stand, will soon morph into Trump's right to throw anyone he wants into prison.  And anyone who doesn't think that is where this is leading knows nothing about the history of every dictator that ever lived.

"Trump leaps to new position, claiming that his campaign 'rebuffed' contacts from Russia"

Ha.

"Trump administration rolls back offshore drilling safety measures following industry pressure"

Open corruption.  It's the new normal.

"Barr decided to clear Trump of obstruction before reading Mueller’s report"

Because of course he did.  He's a Republican.

"E.P.A. Proposes Weaker Standards on Chemicals Contaminating Drinking Water"

And why not? Nothing is too vicious and criminal for Republicans.  Who even cares if it benefits the rich sociopaths that keep them in power- the fact that it hurts ordinary people is good enough for his base.

"AG Bill Barr's Senate testimony is so inaccurate, networks are fact-checking his lies in real time"

How long before he gets to 10,000, like Trump?

Oh well, just another few days in today's America.

There is never any good news from or about these lower life forms. Such a shame there were enough damaged souls out there to put these deeply twisted howler monkeys in power.

You played the game. Stop whining about the outcome.

Yes the word of the US government is worthless, OR we bribe lunatic dictatorships and then say we didn't...
i.e. Yes we lie - but you decide to whom.
