 This is just a quick reflection on the bogus Republican "forensic audit" of the Arizona Presidential vote.  We all knew the thing was phony from the word go, but I guess we also expected that the final report would be just one more gigantic Republican lie.  Well, the "cyber ninja" goofballs who ran the thing made a giant mistake:  Instead of releasing the report in the promised month or so after receiving and despoiling the actual Arizona ballots, they stretched out this idiotic circus for five months of never ending publicity and grifting.  In the process, they gave the sane observers in this country plenty of time to examine, and reveal as totally worthless, everything they did.  So claims they might have gotten away with in April or May were impossible now.  The result: dramatic proof the the Arizona election was run totally accurately, and a gigantic humiliation to the liar Trump. Anyway, this has to be the funniest legal story since Larry Klayman sued his mother.

The Republicans' refusal to take even the most obvious measures to fight the Covid epidemic stems from one thing and one thing only:  they will do anything to prevent Joe Biden from having a victory, even killing hundreds of thousands of people.  That is the kind of malignant, inhuman opponents we face in this country today.  This is, in intent, really no different than Hitler sending people to death camps.  After all that has happened, any Democrat who denies this is a fool, and a very malicious fool at that.

 I've been busy at work this week, but before too long a time passes, I want to comment on the ways the various living Presidents chose to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 9-11. Jimmy Carter, who is well into his nineties, was not well enough to attend any public ceremonies.  Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all attended public ceremonies at sites linked to the 9-11 attacks.  Our current President made appearances at all three of the attack sites.  Pretty much what you would expect. That leaves Donald J. Trump.  Here is what this disgusting jackass did on 9-11: He appeared at an event sponsored by the Unification Church, where he lavished praise on its founder, Sun Myung Moon, who was one of the worst cult leaders in history, and who repeated every right wing lie on earth in his "Newspaper," the Washington Times,  while making himself and his family obscenely rich.  You can be sure that Trump did this for pay, likely in the millions of do...
