Wingnut Wrapup
Well, the big name wingnuts are certainly at a low ebb today. What with Obama's great (as usual) speech in Cairo, and their difficulties in explaining how their latest murderer was really a great guy, they seem to be pretty out of sorts. So, I thought I would try an experiment. The following wrapup was taken from one place-the recommended diaries at Red State today. For those of you out there only familiar with lefty blogs, that's sort of like Kos' diary rescue, only with stupidity added. So here goes:
Amy Miller: By “everyone else,” I mean the thousands of people in my generation who stood up, lent an ear to, and drank the kool-aid of one of the most liberal Presidential candidates in galactic history.
Galactic history? No, Amy, that would be fp'thug'hung, from the blg'nobmnob civilization, in the galaxy dzizngh, who ordered the government seizure of all industrial facilities, and then had them converted to grind up the entire population, to produce food for stray cats. However, Obama came in second.
Joe the Plumber cannot compare with Brangelina and Jessica Alba.
Amy also added this helpful remark. I've got to agree with you there, although I do want to point out that Angelina and Jessica were not created as phony public figures by any political party, and actually make an honest living, rather than getting paid to spew right wing lies. So, that's a slight difference.
Lammo: So, actions of this so called doctor and those who advocate for no restrictions of any sort on abortion had absolutely nothing to do with his death? Those who supported him rose up at every turn against even the most logical and reasonable restriction on the practice of abortion. Given their extremism, a collision with an extremist in opposition to them was inevitable.
Yup, of course it was the doctor's fault. By the way, if you guys knew that a "collision" (i.e. terrorist attack) was inevitable, then you did know what the result of your demagoguery would be, didn't you?
T-Bone: It would appear that Obama is (the Jews') biggest danger-followed closely by the 78% of Jews in America that voted for him.
Grow up, guy. Poison gefilte fish is the Jews' greatest danger, followed closely by regular gefilte fish.

Will you be surprised that this involves enacting anti-union legislation proposed by two Republican Senators? No, I didn't think you would.

Nikitas 3: Leftists still are seething about the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of Soviet and Eastern European communism.
No, we're not. We're still seething from the Lakers' first two games against Boston in last year's finals. I have a feeling that we're about to get over it, though.

America is good. America is just. America is righteous. Why can you not acknowledge these very simple tenets? Additionally, your insinuation that acts of “torture” were occurring at Guantanamo Bay prior to your taking of the Oath of Office have not only been proven false, but your rhetoric in this regard does nothing more than to lend comfort and credibility to our evil enemies abroad (you know – the ones who would continue to kill us and terrorize our citizens).
