Depression and Devastation
I'm feeling pretty depressed today. I've been going through my list of conservative idiots on line, and it's just so lame, it's tough to find anything worth mocking. These days, they're hardly worth ridicule, let alone refutation. I guess Barack has just beat them to a pulp, and they're lying on the mat, waiting for the 10-count. A good thing for the country, a bad thing for this blog.
Along those lines, the ever-lovely Pam "Galt Girl" Geller has this to say today:
"ISLAM'S "EASTER" SPECTACULAR: DEVASTATING UK BOMB ATTACK
If such a plot was carried out, it would almost certainly have been Britain's worst terrorist attack, with the potential to cause more deaths than the suicide attacks of July 7, 2005, when 52 people were murdered."
Pam, you had me worried. When you ran a headline (in bright red!) about a DEVASTATING BOMB ATTACK, for a minute there, I thought there had actually been a DEVASTATING BOMB ATTACK!
Well perhaps there was one, but apparently only on the earth-like parallel planet where Obama is a Godless communist Muslim, and the 9-11 bombers came from Iraq, not our buddies in Saudi Arabia. Or maybe that other parallel planet where doing away with business laws is not an open invitation for crooks to rob us blind, and where tax cuts increase tax revenues. You know- I'm talking about Republican land.
I can play this game, too:

Come on, Pam. The only thing "spectacular" about this story is its spectacular stupidity.
